WE’RE BACK, WE’RE COLOURFUL! LET US ENTERTAIN YOU THIS SUMMER.

That’s right, Tourrific Prospect is back and our 2020 event has new entertainment, new tastes, new music and new stallholders!

Prospect Road is unquestionably one of Adelaide’s most vibrant and dynamic shopping and dining precincts, and on Monday 20 January 2020 between 6pm and 11pm we will welcome our community and international visitors to soak up our spectacular summer evening vibes of Prospect. So we’ll crank the tunes from our stages, provide loads of dedicated children’s activities and ensure everyone is kept entertained at one of SA’s best street parties!

You will be spoilt for choice as our local food creators bring the taste of Prospect and South Australia to the street. Of course, all our unique shops will be open to browse along with market stalls that will line the precinct.

THE TRADITION CONTINUES

Since 2012, City of Prospect has supported the Santos Tour Down Under – Australia’s greatest cycling

race. We’ve hosted stage starts and stage finishes in different years, and what we’ve always done is create one of the largest and most celebrated community events in the incredible South Australian Events Calendar.

In 2020 we are proud to continue the Tourrific Prospect Street Party tradition by hosting the cycling rest day party, bringing our community to the world stage. We’ll welcome national and international visitors into our diverse, creative and colourful community, and become a ‘must do’ event on the Santos Tour Down Under program.

COLOURFUL, DIVERSE AND CREATIVE

Our street party is a true reflection of who we are in Prospect! With a feast of culinary offerings, a strong sense of community, we will come together to chat, to dance and to chill and make the most of the last days of the school holidays!

Prospect is one of Adelaide’s most vibrant communities, and Tourrific Prospect showcases our city as a vital place to live and invest in, creating far reaching

community benefit through an inclusive, innovative and culturally diverse celebration. We also look forward to highlighting all of the new businesses that have joined us in the past two years, and as the sun sets and the party gets going, you will see our colourful community really come to life!

WHERE IS OUR SUMMER PARTY ZONE?

On 20 January 2020 the party event zone will start in the north from Payinthi, 128 Prospect Road, the new home of City of Prospect, and will stretch all the way through to the Palace Nova Prospect Cinema precinct in the south. WHAT A TOURRIFIC PROGRAM!

BRING THE FAMILY

We’ve got the kids covered, so bring them along and their friends too! Tourrific Prospect is truly a community event, and there’ll be loads of activities for children so they feel part of the party. The Kids’ Zone is always a hit, and if it all gets too rowdy for the little ones, there are also quieter, chill-out spaces where parents and children can relax together.

For the map with all the details, go to www.prospect.sa.gov.au/tourrific

SOAK UP THE FUN ALL NIGHT

We’d love you to come for the start and stay all night, after all it’s only once a year you get to chill out on Prospect Road, literally! So we’ll ensure there are plenty of places to pause, eat and drink and soak up the atmosphere.
