Children's Liturgy of the Word provides anopportunity for children to experience the

Sunday Scriptures at age-appropriateunderstanding. They actively participate in the

proclamation and hearing of the Word, and learnabout prayer and Jesus' message in their lives.

Parents with children in Preschool through3rd grade are especially encouraged tovolunteer periodically for this ministry!

There are a lot of children, so it takes manyvolunteers to make this ministry possible.

We especially need volunteers for the 11 amMasses.

Adults, teens, and older children can all have arole! We have a need for: Homilists: Adults to proclaim the Gospel andgive a short children’s homily. Readers: Reads the first reading andpsalm. This role can be filled by an adult, teen or older child (grades 4 and up). Angels: Volunteers to help walk the childrento and from their classroom. This role can befilled by an adult, teen or older child.
