The Simple Answer to why you should join the Knights of Columbus:
We Save Lives! &
We Change Lives!
I would like to thank Bishop William Connare Council # 15373 in Slickville for hosting our
Chapter Meeting in March, what a great turn out and as always a wonderful meal. This month
the Chapter Meeting will be hosted by the Jeanette Council #1222. As always, we will pray the
Rosary @ 7:15 pm then start the Meeting after.
I would like to wish a Happy Easter to you and your family as we celebrate our Father’s greatest
sacrifice through his Son, Jesus Christ. Have a blessed Easter.
PA State Label Program You have probably received a set of return labels with the Knights of Columbus emblem and
wondered why. Well, they were sent to you as part of the Pennsylvania K of C Label Program.
This is a voluntary, but highly encouraged program for all members to participate. We simply
ask that you use the labels and in return make a donation for them. Your support for the Labels
Program directly benefits Pennsylvania Special Olympics, promotes vocations awareness in our
10 state Dioceses and provides a rebate to those qualifying councils attending the State
Convention.
The information on your labels is based on your record at Supreme as of January 1, 2018. If
there is a discrepancy have your Financial Secretary correct your record at Supreme and
contact Labels Chairman Mike Conroy [email protected] for new labels.
Please use your Labels to let others know you are a proud member of the K of C.
Thank you for your generous support of the State Labels Program.

A PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS Heavenly Father, bless Your Church with an abundance of holy and zealous priests, deacons,
brothers and sisters. Give those You have called to the married state and those You have
chosen to live as single persons in the world the special graces that their lives require. Form us
all in the likeness of Your Son so that in Him, with Him and through Him we may love You more
deeply and serve You more faithfully, always and everywhere. With Mary we ask this through
Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Greensburg Council 1480 Helping in Life Choices New Office I would like to thank the wonderful Council members and their wives for volunteering to go into
the new Life Choice Pregnancy Center office in Greensburg and strip wall paper. This office is
scheduled to open in June 2018 and will be a first in the Greensburg area to support women who
are pregnant and looking for help and guidance. The Knights in the Greensburg Chapter have
committed to helping this office open on time by stripping wallpaper, painting the office,
donating some of the furniture and of course raising funds to purchase an Ultrasound Machine.
Below are some pictures of some of the Brother Knights and their wives stripping wall paper.
