Our team of experts guarantees access to a full performance spectrum in the areas of assessment, testing and engineering support and certification areas at 12 locations in Europe and 18 locations worldwide – effective and where the clients need us.

As a subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG, TÜV SÜD Rail undertakes to offer its clients the high quality and reliability associated with a strong brand. We can rely on the complete network of expertise represented by the TÜV SÜD Group worldwide. The focus of the TÜV SÜD Rail services lies in the areas of rail automation (e.g. signaling technology), rail vehicles (e.g. brake technology) and infrastructure (e.g. rail track). Synergies with the TÜV SÜD Group and cooperation agreements or holdings of various kinds enable TÜV SÜD Rail to accompany new components or systems throughout their life-cycles, from urban rail transit and metro systems to high-speed trains. Our designated company ISV mbH and the newly founded subsidiary ECG (ERTMS Competence Group) complement the portfolio of TÜV SÜD Rail by offering consulting services in the area of ETCS and other signaling systems.

By way of the notified body Railcert B.V. (a subsidiary jointly owned by Movares and TÜV SÜD Rail) and the national partnership as an associate partner of the Interoperability (EBC) notified body at the Federal German Railways Authority (EBA), we are able to provide competent solutions on all aspects of safeguarding the interoperability of rail transport systems in accordance with EU directives.
