Dear Members, Since our last Newsletter in December, WE has had exciting global and chapter-focused events and has continued to make progress in building the organization. In March we circled the globe with a launch of our first Asia Pacific Chapters in Hong Kong and Sydney. At the Inside ETFs conference in January we held our first anniversary WE Breakfast with a panel of leading women investment strategists and over 200 participants. The highlight so far this year in terms of engaging WE members at all our chapters around the globe were the exchange bell ringing ceremonies in March to celebrate International Women’s Day. These coordinated event were an organization-wide initiative involving all our committees, but a special thanks to Diana Tidd, Co-Head of Events and Education, and Deborah Fuhr, Co-Head of External Liaison for leading the coordination, as well as the Global Marketing Committee who managed the branding, messaging, and communications aspects of the global bell-ringings. We also successfully launched our new WE website in January that allows us to connect more easily with our members and to share our upcoming events, highlight news and career opportunities relevant to WE members. If you have not yet done so, please update your profile, view the member directory, check out the job postings and view the “Women in the Workplace” article library as well as some of the special, members-only privileges available on our site. On the website, we are very excited to share beginning today a series of three videos, recorded by WE leadership and supporters at the Inside ETF conference. Please take the opportunity to take a look at all three new WE videos – Why WE, Why Sponsor, and WE Founders! Thank you to the outstanding team at ETF Trends and Jyoti Bhagavan, Co-Head of Marketing and Communication, who worked very closely to produce these videos. WE MENTORSHIP

Spring is here! It’s time to get out and participate in the next mentorship circle near you. In January, the Boston Chapter hosted their first mentorship circle at Petit Robert Central located in Boston’s financial district where members were brought together to share experiences and build relationships over lunch. Mentorship is continuing to pilot mentorship circles in surrounding cities such Chicago, San Francisco, and New York. For Q2, the Mentorship Group is also working on the inception of WE Talks, short video’s that capture and engage members on numerous topics that women encounter in and out of the workplace.
