History The Prince George Self-Advocates Caucus was formed on April 20, 1991. This group was formed by three people who wanted to start a caucus group in the north.
Their vision was to promote self-advocacy by encouraging people to speak up for themselves.
They also wanted to tell people in their community that they belong. They wanted to have a group that they could call their own.
Some people are still involved with the group today and the Prince George Self-Advocates Caucus has been very active since the day they started.
Their group is the first self-advocates group to run an office within a community living association.
Their office is located at AiMHi 950 Kerry Street.
