SantaHatchie 2017 Christmas Mission - Evening of December 20-Evening of December 22 On Wednesday evening, December 20 through Friday evening, December 22, Advent will host a local mission called SantaHatchie. Advent UMC will reach out into the community to share the love of Christ with our neighbors as Christmas approaches. Our goal is to make homes drier, safer and warmer! During SantaHatchie, we will provide breakfast and lunch each day. We are asking that each person pay a $10 registration fee to Advent UMC to help offset the cost of the meals. Long sleeve T-shirts are also available for $10 each and are available to order through the registration form. Registration and T-shirt fees should be turned into the Advent church office Monday-Thursday from 9am until 5pm or Friday from 9am until 1pm. All participants will sleep in their own homes and not at the Advent Christian Life Center! Elementary and Middle School Students are invited to partic- ipate in SantaHatchie WITH a parent. ADVENT UMC CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

December 7th - Free Spirit Senior Ministry Meeting It’s that time of the year for Free Spirit Senior Ministry to gather and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This year, we will meet on Thursday, December 7, at 6:00pm at the Forrest Lake Clubhouse located on Hwy 14 just off of Woodruff. Our meal will be catered by Olive Garden. The cost will be $15.00 per person for a pasta bar main course, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. We would appreciate payment in advance. Don’t forget your $10-15 gift for our fun gift exchange.
