The British retail company Welcome Break was plagued with excessively high employee-turnover rates. The numbers below show major turnover in four of the stores. Before FranklinCovey training, the average turnover approached 50 percent (48.8%), with one of the stores losing 61 percent (61.3%) of its employees every year. Leadership

This latest development to the FranklinCovey resource pool is state of the art, simple and so effective that if used correctly guarantees great long term results. The accountability tracker is an online resource that reinforces the 12 month Leadership contract. Each participant will be required to complete activities weekly in the resource in an effort to become accountable for their development. 2. Act on the Lead Measures. Everyone knows and commits to a few “80/20” activities that will have the most impact; then they use “lead measures” to track those activities relentlessly.

3. Keep a Compelling Scoreboard. Everyone knows the critical measures of success and, at every moment, if they are winning or not. A compelling scoreboard motivates people to win.

4. Create a Cadence of AccountabilityEveryone accounts frequently and regularly for progress toward the goals. Every team engages in a simple weekly “WIG Session” to track successes, analyse failures, and course-correct as necessary.

Developing a Culture of Execution

Unlike most traditional training, the purpose of The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Manager Certification is todevelops skills and create actual work plans. The outcome of this multi-staged process is to identify the mostimportant goals for each manager and team to pursue, then create measures and identify the key activitiesthat will predict goal achievement.
