We Can’t Imagine Life Without a Small Group! Forty-seven years of marriage … seven cities, a wide variety of churches and denominations … and I can’t think of a time when John and I were NOT in a Small Group together. If there wasn’t a group, we’d start one. In one small town we started a group with only three other people, but knew that “wherever two or more are gathered in His Name, He’d be among us” and He always was … and is. at little group, from a variety of churches, and in a short period of time, grew to over twenty! e only problem was having to start making two desserts instead of one, since fellowship is always better with treats! We’ve always met in homes … something about the warmth of a home helps draw people closer to each other. We’ve often been in leadership roles, but not always. Being able to grow in faith with others has been an integral part of our Christian walk. Hearing the stories of others, sharing our stories with others, asking hard questions, recognizing that we all have struggles, praying for others and having them pray for us, are just some of the benefits. It takes time to develop that spiritual closeness and trust. It’s worth the time. It’s worth the effort. In a Small Group you may take home a seed, a thought, a challenge for you. We Can’t Imagine Life Without a Small Group!Forty-seven years of marriage … seven cities, a wide variety of churches and denominations … and I can’t think of a time when John and I were NOT in a Small Group together.

If there wasn’t a group, we’d start one. In one small town we started a group with only three other people, but knew that “wherever two or more are gathered in His Name, He’d be among us” and He always was … and is.
