Waltzer is a simple roll around high or low back sofa and/or "focus work den" that provides new and unique WOW (Way Of Work) opportunities within an open plan landscape.

For over a decade we have  listened to customers demands for truly flexible furniture solutions and as the phrase "design with your ears" reached the Muzo team, the study of clients acoustic/privacy issues, combined with their needs for new impromtu and socially driven reconfigurable meeting spaces and undisturbed work position options, provided the inspiration for Waltzer.

Technology has changed the way we all work, but has office furniture kept up with the pace of change and the need for choices? comfort? ability to reconfigure? soften sound?

Designer Jason Lansdale recognised the need for new intelligent soft seating that would keep pace with change, be easy to reconfigure and that could be mixed and matched in a multitude of ways in order to provide new way of work choices, within an open plan landscape.

Kite® is more than just a folding table, Kite can revolutionise the way we use space. Simple to move, fold and store, Kite is designed to optimise the meeting experience in all environments from the boardroom to the classroom. The Kite shape ensures that each person has their own working space and good line of sight; everyone sits at a straight edge, no one straddles a table leg, writes over a seam or is squashed into a corner. How many hours a day do you spend sitting? Fewer than eight? More than ten? A recent survey found that many of us spend up to twelve hours a day sitting whilst looking at computers, attending meetings, driving or watching television.

Remaining static for so long is clearly bad for us and many studies suggest that those who sit all day live around two years less than those who are more active. Most of us are guilty of excess sitting. We sit at work, in the car and at home, moving only to shift from one seat to another. Whether you require a tall mobile lean bar, a static library bench or an exact fit for your home office, Versatilis is the system base that answers all the size, shape, height and portability questions.

Challenging the outdated thinking behind traditional welded frame furniture, Versatilis is constructed via a unique series of cast aluminium connectors that slot into cut-to-length aluminium rails. The steel tubular or tapered legs are identical to those used on the Kite tables, and add to the immense strength and durability of the product.

The option to re-purpose exiting table tops from your existing static furniture adds to the environmentally conscious credentials of this totally flexible product line.

DescriptionOur design philosophy is that the castorshould never be an afterthought. In fact thecastor should be the centre of attention as itsperformance will dictate the success or failureof any portable furniture design.

Unlike our competitors, Muzo designed itsown castor. We wanted to put a little emotioninto castor design - and a great deal of ourresearch.
