ChARACTERIsTICs OF ThE WATERPROOFING sysTEm

• The substrate must be without cracks and have already completed the curing period of hygrometric shrinkage

• all connections between wall and floor and drainage systems must be adequately waterproofed

• The waterproofing membrane must have high tensile strength and must be flexible to allow for movements in the structure

• The adhesive must be damp-resistant, flexible and compatible with the waterproofing membrane

• The grout must be flexible and resistant to extreme thermal conditions

The Kerakoll® solutionmost of the damage that occurs in buildings is caused by leakage of water. These leaks are mainly due to errors in planning and/or use of the wrong waterproofing systems.To prevent these events Kerakoll® has developed an integrated system comprising screed, tapes, waterproofing membrane, adhesive and grout to ensure an extended lifespan.The waterproofing membrane is tested according to strict En 14891 standards. The screed complies with standard En 13813 and the adhesives are certified under En 12004:2007+a1:2012 and carry the cE mark in compliance with European directive 89/106/EEc.
