1. WATERPROOFING FOR SUB-STRUCTURE: Concrete should be sound and clean, smooth and chamfered at all edges. 1.1 Horizontally: One layer of polypropylene GEOTEXTILE 350g/m2 will be laid. One layer of MASTERPREN BG 2MM , a 2mm thick plasticized PVC waterproofing membrane, will be loosely laid over Geotextile, with overlaps welded by hot air. WATERSTOP W4 will be placed to round 150 m2 compartment areas, including construction joint lines. MASTERPREN PVC INJECTION FLANGE, an injection flange to be welded to PVC membrane at a rate of 1piece in each compartment (40m2), If required. One layer of polypropylene GEOTEXTILE 350g/m2 protection will be laid. One layer of 1000 gauge Polyethylene Sheet + Protection Screed will be laid and supervised by Foreman. 1.2 Vertically: One layer of polypropylene GEOTEXTILE 140g/m2 will be laid. One layer of MASTERPREN BG 2MM, a 2mm thick plasticized PVC waterproofing membrane, will be loosely laid over substrate and will be welded by hot air with Fixing RONDELS at rate of 1 unit/ 2 m2. WATERSTOP W4 will be placed to round 150 m2 compartment areas, including construction joint lines. One layer polypropylene of GEOTEXTILE 350g/m2 will be laid. One layer of 6mm thick polypropylene protection board will be placed. 1.3 Membrane Termination: Aluminum flashing 1mm thick, 50mm girth with 1 bent (Mill Finish) & Polyurethane Sealant on top will be used for membrane termination. 2. ROOF WATERPROOFING WORKS: 2.1 Flat area: L.W. Foam Concrete, density: 550-650 kg/m3, thickness: 5 – 15 cm, laid to slope with min. 1 %. (Cement, Water, Electricity, Curing and Leveling Ribs, By Main Contractor). One coat of primer as per ASTM D41. One layer of PY 40 L from AWAZEL, a 4mm thick SBS modified bituminous membrane, with 180g/m2 non-woven polyester reinforcement, with 100mm sidelaps and 150mm endlaps fully torched and seamed. One separation layer of GEOTEXTILE 100g/m2. One layer of 50mm thick, density: 32-35kg/m3, Fire-rated Extruded Polystyrene Insulation Board. One separation layer of GEOTEXTILE 140g/m2. As specified finishing level (By Main Contractor).

2. ROOF WATERPROOFING WORKS:

2.1 Flat area: L.W. Foam Concrete, density: 550-650 kg/m3, thickness: 5 – 15 cm, laid to slope with

min. 1 %. (Cement, Water, Electricity, Curing and Leveling Ribs, By Main Contractor). One coat of primer as per ASTM D41. One layer of PY 40 L from AWAZEL, a 4mm thick SBS modified bituminous

membrane, with 180g/m2 non-woven polyester reinforcement, with 100mm sidelaps and 150mm endlaps fully torched and seamed.

One separation layer of GEOTEXTILE 100g/m2. One layer of 50mm thick, density: 32-35kg/m3, Fire-rated Extruded Polystyrene

Insulation Board. One separation layer of GEOTEXTILE 140g/m2. As specified finishing level (By Main Contractor).

2.2 Skirting: One coat of primer according to ASTM D41will be applied. One layer of PY 40 L, a 4mm thick SBS modified bituminous membrane, 180g/m2

non-woven polyester reinforcement, with 100mm sidelaps and 150mm endlaps fully torched and seamed will be used.

One layer of PY 40 L MINERAL, a 4mm thick SBS modified bitumen membrane surfaced with minerals, fully torched at the corner carried on the parapet and tucked into groove in 300mm girth strip will be used.

Aluminum Flashing 1mm thick, 50mm girth with 1 bent (Mill Finish)will be used. Polyurethane Sealant will be applied on top.
