DESCRIPTION
Water-Colour is a site specific textile installation, designed to stimulate the senses and highlight connections to the relationship between textiles and water. Referencing the building's past life as a laundry - the installation will drape a five storey high atrium space with collectively dyed cloth - using an ‘exhaust dye’ process - that reuses the dye bath water until all the colour runs out. This activity will be part of the London Design Festival 2013, and will include a series of public engagement events of talks and workshops. http://www.londondesignfestival.com/events/water-colour
