IUlANUCACTURERS’ LITERATURE Anodizing Processes Aluminum Anodizers Council Wauconda, III.
The Aluminum Anodizers Council is offering a full-color, 16-page bro- chure entitled “Anodizing...The Finish of Choice.” The brochure was devel- oped for the potential buyers of ano- dized products to give them a technical working knowledge of anodizing. Here they can learn what anodizing can do for their products and what to expect when ordering these finishes. The easy-to-read guide explains the bene- fits of anodized finishes, including their durability, color stability, ease of maintenance, aesthetics, and cost. Using both terminology and plain language, the electrochemical process of anodizing is explained. The six current anodizing processes are illus- trated and outlined in a two-page table,
allowing potential clients to compare the different processes used and the results obtained from each of the anodizing color systems. Ordering and quotation guidelines, as well as tips on how to specify aluminum finishes, are also included.
