HURIKAN150Hurikan150 incinerators are exceptionally robust and manoeuverable units, designed to be used for rapid deployment in the event of disease, epidemic or disaster. They have been specifically developed to swiftly and easily incinerate carcasses resulting from any type of disaster including outbreaks of disease such as Avian Flu. They are ideal for use in remote, difficult to access areas.

The Hurikan 300 has been developed to meet customer needs for hourly incineration throughputs that fall between the existing capacities of the Hurikan 150 and Hurikan 500 models. This model is designed and manufactured to the same high standards that already apply to larger Hurikan models and it can offer an hourly capacity of up to 300Kgs of organic (agricultural) waste, with a lower hourly (mid-range) capacity for medical and other inorganic waste. The Hurikan 300 is also capable, at it’s capacity level, of dealing easily with a similarly wide range of waste material, including carcasses resulting from catastrophic events (such as oil spillages, earthquakes and typhoons) or outbreaks of disease (Avian Flu variants, FMD, BSE and Swine Fever) Medical Waste and Contraband (such as illegal drugs).

LONG ANCHORSThe use of monolithic cast enables anchors to be used, providing greater support.

Use of brick or concrete slabs means anchors are not possible. With brick, the

absence of anchors can result in cracks occurring. Heat and gases can attack

through these leading to greater damage of the bricks themselves and the insulation

board. With concrete slabs, the absence of anchors can result in the whole

incinerator being unusable as, if one slab falls away, all slabs will fall away.

INSULATION BOARDAn insulation board is included between the concrete and steel, serving a dual

purpose. It protects the steel from the heat and also allows the concrete another

dimension to expand, acting as a cushion against the steel.

CONCRETEWe offer 3 grades of concrete that can be tailored to suit your requirements.

MONOLITHIC CAST LININGMonolithic cast is used in all our units, which are cast in situ allowing anchors to be

used, providing greater support, generating a robust unit designed to be both fit for

purpose and long lasting. Monolithic casting is cast continuously with no joints for

maximum strength and energy efficiency.

Concrete slabs and bricks, by the nature of their manufacture, are more prone to

fail as they have little or no flex in the units needed. Joints are weakened which

leads to the whole unit being attacked. This can lead to catastrophic failures,

meaning the unit is unoperational.
