• Day One• Capitol Building Tour• Supreme Court Tour• White House Tour• Ford’s Theater and Petersen House• Illuminated Monument/Memorial Tour
• Day Two• Holocaust Museum• National Archives• Air and Space Museum• Smithsonian – American History• Arlington Cemetery (drive past)
Chaperones
• 8 School Personnel
• 8 Parent Chaperones ($255 per parent)• If we have more than 8 volunteers, we will
randomly draw 8 names.
• Student/Adult ratio max• White = 8 to 1• Blue = 9 to 1
Fundraising
• Current• PTO contributed $3000• Krispy Kreme fundraiser• Class 2013 T-shirt sales
• Future• Spaghetti dinner – Feb. 4th • % of restaurant/business sales• Donkey basketball• Various community organizations donations• Raffles• Ads in 8th grade trip brochure• More to come
Total Cost = $220 per student
• 1st deposit* due November 21st • $50
• 2nd payment* due January 21st • $50
• 3rd payment* due early March• Balance due (amount depends on
fundraising success)
