Our CIO Perspectives Forum in Washington, DC brought together top
IT executives at a one-day regional forum to meet, collaborate with
and learn from their regional peers and thought leaders on the most
important topics of the day. This one day forum also provided sponsors
with the opportunity to conduct face-to-face introductions and
conversations with attendees in an environment conducive to education
and networking.
This executive summary highlights information about the attendees,
speakers and key moments at the June 22, 2011 CIO Perspectives
Forum, as well as provides examples of sponsor benefits and exposure
to this audience.
Overall, we saw attendees from organizations representing:
y 19,699 average number of employees at company
y $6.6 billion average company revenues
y $199 million average IT budgets
We had an engaged audience of attendees who found value in the
content and sponsor participation. 92% of attendees plan to, or are
considering, following up with at least one sponsor.

PURPOSE & METHODOLOGY
PURPOSE
Two surveys were completed by the
CIO Perspectives Washington, DC
attendees to substantiate the profile
of attendees and to evaluate the
overall quality of the forum including
networking opportunities, content, and
the individual forum sessions.
METHODOLOGY
During the registration process all attendees complete a series of demographic questions in
order to register and qualify for the CIO Perspectives forum held on June 22, 2011. In addition,
a post-conference survey was administered online.

The CIO Perspectives Forum in Washington, DC attracted a quality audience of 89 attendees

FORUM QUALITY AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
The CIO Perspectives Forum provides participants with a high quality one day regional
program to meet, collaborate with and learn from their regional peers, with ample time for
educational insights from top IT thought leaders and networking opportunities for sponsors
and peers. Based on their experiences at this Washington, DC CIO Perspectives event ninety-
six percent would attend another event put on by CIO, and ninety-two percent (92%) of the
participants would recommend this specific conference to their colleagues.
