Bathys Technology Inc. www.bathys.com A portable, low-cost impingement washing system, said to remove oil, grease, and other contaminants and particulate from continuous strip and mill-rolled parts, is now available from Bathys Technology Inc. The “CAT 1000” is a small-foot- print, single-chamber washer designed for in-line or free-stand- ing use. It accepts strips and coils up to 4.5 in. wide, with custom tool- ing available for other widths. Speeds are adjustable from 30 to 100 linear ft per minute, depending on cleansing thoroughness desired. The system features automatic fill/maintain level circuits and “air knife” quick drying. model to its line of electrocoagu- lation systems for treating extra-complex waste streams. The EC-20 will process 20 gal- lons per minute (gpm) of waste- water as compared to 10 gpm in an earlier model. The ElectroClear (EC) system uses electrocoagulation, an electrici- ty-based technology for treating complex waste streams. EC- treated wastewater typically is of a quality that can be recycled or discharged to a sanitary sewer. The ElectroClear systems are customized and modular for accommodating floor space.
