The club was founded by Dr Philip Brown, owner of Warren House, whose passion for the sport started back in 2005 when he bought his first racehorse; he now has eight racehorses, five broodmares, two yearlings and two new foals. Prairie Ranger was the first winner sponsored by Warren House Racing Club, a three-year-old colt who put in a good performance at Newbury Racecourse. Another of Dr Brown’s horses, Mr Fitzroy, also finished in

a good third place at Newmarket. We can’t wait to see how all the horses develop over the years and are hopeful that there are more wins still to come from such a diverse group of horses.

Dr Brown is dedicated to encouraging others to enjoy every element of breeding and racing. With exclusive events at the House and excursions to racing’s finest venues, members can partake in an exciting programme of activities.

In 2013 Phil Smith, the BHA’s Head of Handicapping, gave an interesting and informative presentation on the handicapping process. Guests also enjoyed superb hospitality

The Isabella Plantation, an ornamental woodland garden, full of exotic plants, run on organic principles, is located towards the centre of the park.

‘The Way’ Gates have been installed on the edge of sidmouth Woods to mark the tercentenary of st Paul’s cathedral.

have developed ‘Warren House at Home’. From small,

intimate dinner parties to large business events, you can

choose from a menu of mouth-watering starters, main

courses and desserts all prepared to your specifications.

To make life even easier, you can also purchase

all your champagnes, wines and waters here at

Warren House. In addition, we offer a full off-site

catering service including consultation and expert

advice. The service is bespoke and flexible allowing you

to choose how much we organise, from simple delivery

and set-up, to chefs and waiting staff included.

There are 2 options available.

For small events at home or when you don’t need us

to cook and serve, collection on the day is simple and

straightforward, especially with our accessible parking.

call into the retail area of Warren House and choose

from our selection of delicious starters, main courses

and desserts (to make life even easier, you can also

order your champagne, wines and water at the same

time). Then, just let us know how many guests you are

buying for, what you would like and when you’d like to

pick up your meals and drinks. after that, all you need

to do is turn up on the scheduled date and collect your

order. We’ll even help you carry everything to the car,

it’s as easy as that!

The second option is to have us cater everything

for your event. one of our experienced team will come

to your chosen venue and run through every detail of

your intended occasion. We’ll make some suggestions

and can organise as much or as little as you would like

us to. We can just deliver the food or bring the chefs

and waiting staff and when we leave it will be like we

were never there – apart from a few temping leftovers

we’ll have popped in your fridge for the following day!
