and has universal recognition which is
accepted by influential organisations around

About the Courses
Training is always carried out by qualified
IPAF instructors who are also experienced

Courses are a mix of classroom theory and
practical, hands-on instruction. Generally

course content includes MEWP safety

MEWP introduction and familiarisation, a
practical test, course evaluation and a
question and answer session.
When training has been successfully
completed, the operator will receive a
safety guide, a log book and their Powered
Access Licence and certificate.

records of all training undertaken. Shortly
before it is due for renewal, we will contact

Driver CPC Accredited Training Driver CPC training is a scheme
designed to develop the skills and
knowledge of PCV and LGV drivers
during their career, and has been
developed around EU directive 2003/59.
It is a legal condition for any professional
drivers of vehicles over 3.5 tonnes
throughout Europe.
Who is affected by this?
Drivers who obtained driving licences
before 1 January 1997, who use C or D
licence categories as part of their job are
now also required by legislation to
undertake CPC Periodic Training to
maintain that entitlement.
The first 35 hours of training should be
completed before the 10th September
2014. Existing drivers will lose the right to
drive if training is not completed by this
date. Drivers are obligated to take blocks of
training which must be a minimum of
7 hours.
About the Courses
The INATIV training suite has been
specially designed to deliver 100% of the
CPC legislative requirements whilst
allowing time to include other best practice
and mandatory training.
Up to two days of bespoke industry specific
training, can be taken as part of the
syllabus without detriment to the minimum
requirements of the legislation.

and to find out what courses count
towards ‘industry specific’ training.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005,
require that the assembly, dismantling or
alteration of mobile access towers should
only be undertaken by a competent
person, or if being trained, under the
supervision of a competent person.
Such a person is someone considered to
have the appropriate training, technical
knowledge or experience.
PASMA, therefore, sponsors training
courses provided only by authorised
training members.
Widely recognised and recommended by
safety professionals, the PASMA course
provides successful delegates who pass
a written and practical test with a
competency certificate and an
encapsulated, credit card sized ID card.
We offer the following PASMA courses:
Towers for Users
Towers for Managers
