Warehouse Number / Storage Type
Definition
With this object you can limit access to warehouse numbers and storage
types in the Warehouse Management (WM) system.
An authorization check with this object can only refer to the warehouse
number or the warehouse number together with the storage type.
THe warehouse number authorization of a user is checked in all relevant
transactions and also in the Reporting functions of the WM system.
The storage type authorization is always activated with the movement
type authorization if the storage type addressed in the transfer order
is different from the entries in the movement type table in the WM
WM Authorizations
system (Customizing).
Defined fields
o LGNUM Warehouse number
o LGTYP Storage type
o Example:
The following values have been defined in the authorization object
L_LGNUM:
o Warehouse number '001' + '003'
o Storage type '021'
With these entries the user is authorized to work with warehouse numbers
G.V.SHIVAKKUMAR [email protected] [email protected]
'001', '003' and storage type '021'. The storage type is checked only
when a transfer order is created (in connection with the movement type
authorization check). Otherwise the storage type is not checked (for
example, when a storage bin is created).

Transaction Codes in the Warehouse Management System
Definition
Using this object, you can limit access to certain Warehouse Management
transactions.
All transactions in the WM system begin with the letter L. If you want
to implement Hazardous Material Management in MM-WM, you must also
include the transactions VM01 through VM03 in your authorization
concept. The authorization for transaction VM04 is required only in
connection with the takeover of hazardous material data from the
WM Authorizations
substance database and should not be assigned for usage.
You can have a list of all transaction codes displayed by selecting the
following menu options:

Using the function "Find" (search type "Authorization object" and search
