So on this slideshow I want to tell you more about Nathan 18 and the history of Club Penguin. So Nathan 18 is a normal penguin on Club Penguin? But is he? Nathan 18 is a penguin from late 2008. In his inventory he has lots of rare items and rare badges, before Herbert destroyed this EPF HQ in early 2011 there was a command room with missions and other stuff, late 2011 when the new EPF HQ was created it was the VF room, upstairs of the HQ. These were still the same. Early 2013 the VF room got destroyed and has not currently had any work. This is disappointing.

HistoryLike I said, Club Penguin HQ VF room has not had any work done to it, penguins do not know when this will reopen or if one day they are going to put a mini game there.

As lots of penguins will know, the newspaper has not always looked the same. In early 2010 the newspaper was updated to how it is today, before that it was much different, Nathan used to read the newspaper, now he only reads the headlines as he doesn’t like the new design. More new penguins are on Club Penguin as Disney have promoted it. Disney has not always owned Club Penguin, before Disney it was on its own website but on another website called Miniclip, you can still find it there today. Also the website homepage is different, in late 2012 the website was updated, before is was much different, the blog headlines where at the top and easier to navigate, lots of penguins will find this website homepage easier to navigate as they have been brought up on Club Penguin like this.

HistoryLike I said before, the Club Penguin we know today was much different, some good and some bad. Also many penguins will not know this but on the old homepage Club Penguin had a trailer, it was a good trailer but unfortunately could not be found on YouTube. Club Penguin was first launched to the public on 24th October 2005, in that time it was launched in beta, there were still some glitches but not as many as before it was launched, Club Penguin invited kids from the US to go in and test Club Penguin, they found lots of glitches like, trying to buy stuff, this is true, when a penguin tried to buy stuff it would let them buy it but wouldn’t take the money from their account, cool huh? Not really because where's the fun in getting some more money.

Now you may think Walt Disney and Club Penguin Entertainment Inc. made Club Penguin. Club Penguin Entertainment Inc. did make Club Penguin but I'm gonna tell you the real person who had this idea. Lance Priebe made Club Penguin, before it was called Club Penguin it was called Penguin Chat, this came starting with Penguin Chat 1, 2 and 4. This was where you could speak but not get banned for rude words, you could visit igloos like Club Penguin but unfortunately you couldn’t speak to other penguins as it wasn’t on a server. Lance still makes games and you can play them. Someone very clever made a prototype of Penguin Chat and put it online, Lances version was real but was taken down. Also someone clever has made a Old Club Penguin, this is where it is old Club Penguin with all the old rooms and newspapers, they claim that they made this game for others who agreed that Disney ruined Club Penguin, I kinda agree with this but also don’t.
