the land, especially Jericho (Josh. 2)

report (Josh. 2:24) God makes the waters of the Jordan

stop so the people can cross on dry land(Josh. 3)

Jericho was the walls that surrounded it God had a particular plan for these

walls, but it required obedience and faith from the Israelites (Josh. 6:1-5, 10)

What do we know about the walls of Jericho?

God, the Israelites probably were not going to get into Jericho

That’s why God was involved in this battle

Children of Israel still had a role to play They had to be obedient and have faith

in God (Heb. 11:30; Josh. 6:20)

Nothing is impossible for God (Matt. 19:26) Faith in God is required if we expect God to

help us with anything (Heb. 11:6; Js. 1:5-8) Obedience is also a requirement of God

(Heb. 5:9; Matt. 7:21) Walls still exist today (II Cor. 10:3-5)
