Developed in partnership with the country’s

best-known oot expert, Glenn Copeland, D.P.M.,

the center oers guests a range o services to

alleviate pain and put a little spring back in

their step.

Been walking in heels all day? Canyon Ranch’s

Healthy in Heels treatment ($155 Tue.-Thur., $165

Fri.-Mon.) is designed or guests who choose

ashion over comort. The 50-minute service

uses Gehwol’s Fusskrat Bamboo Scrub,

Fusskrat Herbal Lotion, Salve or Cracked

Skin and Fusskrat Leg Vitality balm, among

other products, to help revitalize eet. It’s sort

o like a pedicure, but the time usually spent on

 your toenails is instead spent on an extended

massage or your calves and eet.

In addition to six other soothing services, the

Healthy Feet center oers a 25-minute Gait

 Analysis (price varies) that monitors the way 

a guest moves to see how that aects their

posture and upper and lower back. Guests will

be asked to walk on a treadmil l or a ew minutes

 with their pants rolled above their knees so that

our cameras positioned at dierent angles

can record how they’re walking. They’ll then

be asked to walk across a orce plate to assess where they put the most pressure on their eet. I

needed, orthotics will be recommended to help

correct any problems, which can be purchased

at Canyon Ranch. Prices range rom $175 or

o-the-shel orthotics to $595 or customized

ones, which will be shipped to your home.

Many insurance companies will cover the cost,

so be sure to save your receipt or possible

reimbursement.
