Walk the Stop Line Way

From Chard to Ilminster along part of the historic Second World War Stop Line

Wednesday 20 March at 10.30am from the Ship Inn, Furnham Road, Chard

(adjacent to recycling centre)

About 4.5 miles / 2 hours level walking on tarmac surfaces - walking shoes or trainers will be adequate

Ilminster walkers - take the number 30 bus at 10.11am from Market Square alighting at the Ship Inn at 10.25am

Chard walkers please note there is no public parking nearby

there are no toilets along the route

Ilminster has a good range of restaurants and cafes
