Senior Vice President North West Shelf and Burrup,

Niall was recently appointed Senior Vice President North West Shelf and Burrup,
responsible for the safe and reliable operation of Australia’s largest oil and gas
project and Woodside’s plans to establish a regional LNG production centre on
WA’s Burrup Peninsula.
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Niall graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical
Engineering (Honours) from Queen’s University and has 30 years’ experience in
the oil and gas industry.
Before joining Woodside in 1997, Niall held roles with Esso Australia Ltd and a
number of consultancies in the United Kingdom.
Commencing as a Process Engineer supporting the North West Shelf Project’s
Goodwyn Alpha Platform, Niall broadened his experience through a number of
production planning, project, commercial and business development roles.
In 2003, Niall moved to Karratha as Operations Superintendent at the North
West Shelf Project’s Karratha Gas Plant, and in 2006 became Vice President of
the facility.
In 2009, Niall took up a Perth role in business development for Pluto LNG, and
in 2011 went back to Karratha as VP Production Pluto, overseeing the safe and
reliable start up of the Pluto LNG Project. He then served as Senior Vice
President North West Shelf for four years, before becoming Senior Vice
President Australian Operating Unit.

Julie Shuttleworth
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Fortescue Metals Group

Julie Shuttleworth was appointed to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of
Fortescue Metals Group in January 2018.
Julie is a highly experienced mining industry executive with over 23 years’
experience in Australia, China and Tanzania, including 19 years in gold/copper
working for Newcrest Mining, Sino Mining and Barrick Gold, and over four years
in iron ore with Fortescue. She commenced as General Manager, of Fortescue’s
Cloudbreak Mine in 2013, and subsequently took up the position of General
Manager, Solomon Mine from 2015. To date, Julie has received numerous
accolades including 2011 Australian Mine Manager of the Year, 2012 West
Australian Business Woman of the Year, inclusion in the 2013 WIM (UK) 100
Global Inspirational Women in Mining, and selection as one of the 2014
Australian Women of Influence.
Julie is a Fellow and Chartered Professional of the Australian Institute of Mining
and Metallurgy (AusIMM), a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of
Company Directors (AICD), and a member of the International Committee of the
Society of Mining Metallurgy & Exploration (SME), and the Mining & Metallurgical
Society of America (MMSA). Julie also serves on the AusIMM Council for
Diversity & Inclusion.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Extractive
Metallurgy and Chemistry from Murdoch University, as well as Diplomas in
Financial Markets and Management. She has attended Harvard Business School
and INSEAD Business School and sponsors the Julie Shuttleworth Prize in
Mineral Processing at Murdoch University.

Paul Everingham joined the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western
Australia (CME) in June 2018 and transitioned into the Chief Executive role in
July 2018.
Prior to joining CME, Paul held numerous senior and executive roles, including
Chief Executive of Marketforce Australia; Founding Principal and Managing
Director of GRA Everingham Advisory; State Director of the Liberal Party of
Australia (WA) and Senior Adviser for the Commonwealth Treasury.
Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland; Graduate
Certificate in Financial Mathematics from the Queensland University of
Technology; and Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from
the University of NSW.

Scott is the Oceania Mining & Metals Industry Leader. A chartered accountant
and admitted legal practitioner, Scott has more than 20 years’ experience
advising clients in the mining and broader resources sector.
Scott leads more than 50 Oceania partners that are dedicated to serving clients
in the mining & metals sector, working with them and their client teams to ensure
EY bring the best industry insights and solutions to their clients.
In his industry lead role, Scott works with mining companies to understand their
issues and to provide commercial and practical solutions. Scott interfaces with
companies across the spectrum from the largest diversified miners to junior
mining companies. Scott also works with clients in the oil and gas industry.
Scott regularly presents to executives and directors on resources industry issues
such as business risks applicable to the sector, governance, transaction trends,
social licence to operate and related issues of resource nationalism and tax
policy.
As a tax partner, Scott has advised resources clients on many transactions in
the sector from junior consolidations to transformative deals.
Scott has a genuine interest in the growth of the resources industry, and has
supported various industry groups such as the Mineral’s Council of Australia, WA
Chamber of Minerals and Energy (CME) and the Association of Mining and
Exploration Companies (AMEC).
Scott was active in the RSPT and MRRT debates and worked with the peak
global mining industry body, ICMM, to deliver a resource nationalism project.
Scott is passionate about the opportunities, growth and prosperity that the
resources industry represents to communities and economies around the world.

Peter Nicholson
Partner, MD Australia, Investment Team Leader,
Resource Capital Funds
Peter Nicholson, a Partner and Managing Director Australia of Resource Capital
Funds (RCF), is responsible for the analysing and assessing of investment
opportunities, structuring deal terms, ongoing management of portfolio
investments and the overall administration of the Perth office.
Prior to joining RCF in 2003, Peter gained technical experience in mine
production, planning and management through his roles as Underground
Manager of the Emily Ann nickel mine for LionOre Australia (Nickel) Ltd and with
WMC Resources Ltd where he worked in seven different underground
operations and a centralised mine planning unit.
Peter graduated from the University of Queensland with BEng (Mining) and is a
Fellow of FINSIA, having successfully completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied
Finance and Investment. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of
Mining and Metallurgy and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of
Company Directors.
Peter is also a member of the RCF Opportunities Fund Investment Committee
and serves on the Board of Directors of portfolio company Ausenco Limited.

Born and raised in WA, studying Economics at Murdoch University, graduating
with an Honours Degree in 1985. Michael joined Shell in 1986 undertaking a
variety of operational, commercial, governance and project roles in Australia,
Central & Eastern Europe, and China.
He returned to Shell Australia, Perth in 2000 working on all of Shell’s Australian
projects over the subsequent period. Today he is General Manager for the Shell
operated Crux gas/condensate Project, as well as General Manager for Shell’s
27% interest in the Woodside operated Browse gas/condensate Project, both
offshore NW Australia.
Michael is also Chief of Staff for Shell Australia’s Crisis Management Team and
is a Director of the Committee for Perth.

Steve Shearing

Steve has extensive experience in the power generation business for utilities,
industrial, resources and commercial building sectors.
As the State Manager for Western Australia for ABB Australia, Steve oversees
the state’s business development and contract management activities as well
as managing and building strong relationships with customers and the
community.
Before this appointment, Steve’s primary focus was on managing ABB’s
business and interaction with several large global and strategic accounts.

Tracey has more than 15 years’ international experience in the energy sector,
with a particular focus on oil and gas. She advises key participants in the industry
on a wide range of M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate and project
development work. Her experience includes advising on all aspects of the
upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas business, including LNG.
Tracey worked as a senior in-house counsel with Shell for eight years before
joining Allens as a partner in 2012. She started her career working with
Linklaters’ Global Projects team in London.
Her recent experience includes advising:
• A developer on the HK import terminal, including advising on FSRU
procurement and LNG sale and purchase agreements;
• AIE on FRSU procurement for the NSW LNG import terminal;
• PETRONAS on the divestment of a participating interest in offshore
Blocks in Malaysia and related LNG sale and purchase agreements;
• an international oil company on its acquisition of a participating interest
in offshore Blocks in Vietnam;
• a bidder on the potential acquisition of a minority equity stake in the
Malaysia Tiga LNG Project;
• Shell on the development and sell down of equity interests in the Prelude
Floating LNG Project and hydrocarbon lifting and balancing
arrangements;
• Shandong Hengyuan Oil Refinery Company Limited on supply and
offtake arrangements related to its acquisition of Shell’s 51% stake in
Shell Refining Company in Malaysia;
• North West Shelf JVPs on long and short term LNG sale and purchase
agreements with Asian buyers;
• Pertamina on various long term and spot LNG SPAs, including from the
Jangkrik and IDD Projects in Indonesia and Cheniere's Corpus Christi
project in the US;
• Shell's global trading team on long and short term LNG SPAs as part of
Shell’s global LNG trading portfolio; and
• Woodside on certain of its domestic gas sales agreements.
