Jo-Anne Sheehan 289-2895 Mr. and Mrs. John New berg of Risley Road have recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary To commemora te it they participated in a renewal of their wedding vows at a mass held at the "Our Lady of the Isle ' Shrine in Eastport. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev William J Vigliotta Also par- ticipating were the matron of honor and best man , Marion Kuronkiewicz and James Raimondi A reception buffet followed at the Civic Association Hall in Holbrook Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Marino of Prince Street also celebrated a very important anniversary on Saturday, September 23. A silver wedding anniversary party was given to them in their home by their children , Mary Ann and Anthony. Entertaining was a local music group called the "Blue Mist" consisting of An- thony Merino , Louis Avelino , Jeff Hansen and Edward and Andrew Reitzel. Various friends and relatives attended and said it was difficult keeping the party a secret from Mrs . Marino ! SAY YOU SAW IT IN THE ADVANCE. A very happy birthday wish goes out to Lisa Reitzel who was 13 on September 26. On Sep- tember 25 her friend Christine Matthews also celebrated her 13th birthday. Best wishes to both of you ! A get-wel l wi sh goes out to Keith Bolster of Traction Boulevard Keith was recently hospitalized at the Long Island Jewish Hospital for som e testing. The Canaan Elementary School P.T O , under the leadership of President Maureen Diolosa , will sponsor the annual Craft Fair this yea r on December 7 and 8 from 3 until 8 pm. Most of the merchandise for sale will be handmade items from people in our community. Anyone in- terested in contributing his time or talen t should contact Chairperson Pat Carlson at 289- 8659 . Any help will be gratefully appreciated ! MOTHERS CLU B TO MEET The Patchogue-Medford High School Mothers Club will have its first meeting of the year in the high school library at 8:15 pm., Wednesday. The main topic on the agenda will be the election of officers. The Mothers Club has three main functions : It awards scholarships , chaperones student affairs , and communicates directly with the high school administration.
