Marybeth Flower, will be held at Our Lady of the

Snows on Weds., July 26 at 10:00 a.m., and will be fol-

lowed by a reception in Elkhorn. A simple viewing will

be held at the parish the evening before, on Tues.,

July 25 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. If you would like to send

It’s time to start thinking about this fall’s Religious Education Classes. We will be charging $35.00 por child which is a charge from the past. Registration will be happening at the end of August and beginning of September. If you have a child signing up for a sacrament (First Communion or Confirmation), please bring a copy of his or her Baptismal Certificate to registration. We are looking for Religious Education teachers for the coming year for the English/Sunday classes. You must be 18 years or older. We will offer training. The more the merrier. Please let Lupe in the Office, 788-3024 or Chris Nelson, 788-4742, know of your interest. Las clases de Educación Religiosa ya se aproximan. All men & women are invited to a Come & See Retreat! Men’s weekend: September 14-17th

Women’s weekend: October 5-8th Both retreats will be at the Monastery of the Ascension. Retreats begin Thursday

The Rapid Response Team of the Immigration Working Group of Indivisible Blaine County will be meeting at

St. Charles on Thursday, August 3 at 7pm. everyone is welcome! The group is working to create a hotline to

support immigrant communities who have been affected by detainment or deportation. The hotline will include

trained information gatherers who can document ICE activity, access to legal support, and a caretaking team

to help meet families’ needs, among other resources. The hotline will be staffed by bilingual volunteers.

FR. CARLOS PEREZ OF ST. ANN’S CATHOLIC

CHURCH IN BONNER’S FERRY IS ASKING FOR

THE SUPPORT OF HIS CATHOLIC BROTHERS

AND SISTERS IN IDAHO: St. Ann’s, home to more

than 150 families, was destroyed by an arsonist on the

night of April 21, 2016 after having just finished final

renovations. Insurance will cover a large portion of the

rebuilding costs, but not all. Fr. Perez is traveling

around the state of Idaho this summer appealing for

help with these expenses, and will be at Our Lady of

the Snows on the weekend of Aug. 5/6. Please prayer-

fully consider making a donation to Fr. Perez for the

rebuilding of St. Ann’s. You may also donate by mailing
