Today’s Game • Davidson closes the 2009 season with a home contest against PFL opponent Marist Sat- urday. • It’s Senior Day, and Davidson will honor its 19 seniors prior to the game. • Davidson will also present Dave Fagg, a Davidson graduate, former football coach, for- mer radio color commentator and longtime Davidson fundraiser, the Hendrix Award at half- time. The award is presented annually to a Davidson football letterman who, by the use of lessons learned on the playing field, has gone on to achieve outstanding success in his chosen profession. • Davidson is 11-6 in Richardson Stadium in its last 17, and 11-6 against PFL competition in its last 17 league games at home. • The ‘Cats own a 13-8 all-time mark in confer- ence games at Richardson Stadium. • The ‘Cats are 15-14 in their last 29 PFL con- tests and own a 21-23 all-time PFL record. • The Wildcats are allowing just 16.9 points and 284.5 total yards a game in seven league con- tests. • Davidson is coming off a 34-27 victory at San Diego. It was the most points the Wildcats have scored in a game this season. Their 282 rushing yards was also a season high. • Marist, in its first year in the PFL, is third in the league and has won its last five games and its last four conference contests. • The Red Foxes are coming off a 23-21 home victory over Georgetown on a last-second field goal. Series Record • The Red Foxes posted a 24-19 victory in the first meeting between the schools, which took place last season at Richardson Stadium. • Marist running back Bo Ehikioya rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns, and the Red Foxes held off a late-game rally by Davidson. • With his team trailing by 12 points, Kirk Kon- ert caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Alexander with 1:07 left on the clock. The Red Foxes have 11 inter-ceptions, led by Jaquan Bryant’s five picks.• Offensively, the Red Foxes average 328 yards acontest, and O’Neil Anderson averages 79.4rushing yards a contest.• Quarterback Chris Debowski has thrown for1,276 yards and eight touchdowns. of the Week Nov. 7, for his performance in theWildcats’ 34-27 victory at San Diego.• Kidwell put the ‘Cats on the scoreboard firstwhen he picked off a pass and returned it 30yards for a touchdown. The sophomore alsohad four tackles, including two solo hits.• Kidwell’s three interceptions are tied for thesecond most in the PFL, and his 105 returnyards off the picks rank first. It’s the most inter-ception return yards for a Wildcat since JimCarney had 121 in 1999.• The league named Davidson senior Alex Gris-wold its Defensive Player of the Week followinghis performance in the Wildcats’ victory overMorehead State Oct. 10.• Griswold had two sacks, three tackles for lossand two forced fumbles against the Eagles. Thedefensive lineman collected six total tackles, in-cluding five solo, and added a pass breakup.• He has four forced fumbles this season, themost since Mark Wilkerson had four in 2003.

Two ‘Cats Named Academic All-District• Davidson football players Aaron Saltzman andPeter Kidwell have been named first-team ESPNThe Magazine Academic All-District III in a voteconducted by the College Sports InformationDirectors of America (CoSIDA). • The duo will advance to the national ballot forAcademic All-America Honors.• Saltzman carries a 3.49 grade point averageand is majoring in political science.• Kidwell has a 3.33 grade point average.

Running Back Duo Making their Mark• Junior running backs Kenny Mantuo and JustinWilliams are moving up the Davidson all-timescoring chart.• Mantuo has 138 points following a an 11-TDseason in 2008. He is in eighth place, 12 pointsbehind Tommy Dugan.• Williams has 108 points, 16 away from movinginto the top-10.• The duo is also moving up the all-time rushinglist. Mantuo needs 135 yards to crack the top-10, and Williams needs 573.
