A date range can be applied to a currency column can be based on one of two types:
» Calendar
» Based on a calendar cycle. This may be a specific month, year, week etc. “current” is always the current date and time of the computer running the dashpart.
» Available the Account Base or Account Detail Base
» Fiscal
» Based on the fiscal calendar for the current company selected. When assigning periods “current” is always the current period assigned to the company being reported. “Active period
» Available on the Account Base, Account Detail Base and Project Base

Calculation options:
» Relative Periods
» These dates are calculated based on Today’s date or current fiscal period to determine date range applied to amount
» Example: Fiscal Period, Month, Year, Today
» Use case: I want to show Revenue columns for the last 5 fiscal periods based on the current period
» Set Periods
» These are dates that are set based on predetermined date ranges either based on fiscal period setup or calendar dates or specific date ranges
» Example: January, February, 02-2018, 03-2018, Specific Date
» Use case: I want to see Account activity columns for Fiscal periods 01-2018, 02-2018, 12-2018
