Richtlijnen voor de auteursHet Bulletin van het K.B.I.N. verschijnt jaarlijks in driereeksen: Biologie, Entomologie, Aardwetenschappen.Enkel originele artikels worden aanvaard. Ze dienen geschrevente zijn in het Engels, Frans, Duits ofNederlands. De ingezondenartikels worden ter beoordeling voorgelegd aan een leescomité.De beslissingen van dit comité zijn bindend en worden zo

spoedig mogelijk meegedeeld aan de auteur(s). Manuscriptenniet opgesteld volgens deze richtlijnen worden geweigerd.Er is in principe geen beperking wat de lengte van de artikelsbetreft. Wel kan eventueel een financiële tussenkomst gevraagdworden voor langere artikels.De manuscripten worden naar de hoofdredacteur van debetreffende Reeks gezonden.Per artikel wordt een gratis PDF-bestand op CD-ROM terbeschikking gesteld. Iedere auteur ontvangt gratis een gedruktvolume van de jaargang van de betreffende Reeks.

Tekst

De tekst wordt ingezonden in zijn definitieve vorm, in drieexemplaren op DIN A4-formaat, uitsluitend recto getypt meteen dubbele regelafstand en met een 4 cm brede linkermarge.Naam en adres van de auteur(s) worden na de literatuurlijstgeplaatst.Er dient een verkorte titel opgegeven te worden van maximum35 lettertekens, die bovenaan de tekstbladzijden zal gedruktworden.De samenvatting dient opgesteld te worden in tenminste tweetalen, waarvan één het Engels, en wordt telkens gevolgd doordrie tot zes trefwoorden.

Verwijzing in de tekst naar de literatuurlijst gebeurt alsvolgt: tussen haakjes worden de naam van de auteur (in kleinkapitaal), het jaar en eventueel de bladzijde aangegeven; of deauteursnaam wordt gevolgd door jaar en eventueel bladzijdentussen haakjes.De originele illustraties met twee kopieën worden samen methet manuscript ingediend. De auteur geeft in de marge van detekst de plaats van de figuren en tabellen aan.In taxonomische artikels worden de eventuele aanwezigesynonymielijsten zo nauwkeurig mogelijk opgesteld.Short contributions: rubriek voor korte artikels (maximum4 gedrukte bladzijden) over onderwerpen die nieuw zijn ofactueel in de belangstelling staan; mogen voorgelegd wordentot 2 maanden voor het in druk gaan van het volume.Het manuscript moet eveneens op CD-ROM of eventueeldiskette (WORD) ingediend worden.

Literatuurlijst

De literatuurlijst vermeldt alleen die werken waarnaar in hetartikel verwezen wordt, en is alfabetisch gerangschikt, naarde auteursnaam. De titels van de tijdschriften worden nietafgekort, maar voluit geschreven.De referenties worden opgesteld aan de hand van onderstaandevoorbeelden.

Tabellen worden op afzonderlijke vellen toegevoegd. Zeworden genummerd met arabische cijfers en zijn voorzien vaneen legende en van de naam van de auteur.

Tekeningen, foto's en platen

Tekeningen, foto's en platen moeten van goede kwaliteit zijn.De auteurs dienen rekening te houden met de afmetingen vanhet Bulletin (17,6 x 24,5 cm voor een volledige bladzijde en8,5 x 24,5 cm voor een kolom) en dienen de eventuele reductiete vermelden.

Op iedere illustratie zal de naam van de auteur(s) en hetnummer van de illustratie vermeld zijn.De legendes van de figuren worden op een afzonderlijk bladtoegevoegd.Het is wenselijk figuren van een schaal te voorzien.

Algemene opmerkingen

Genus- en speciesnamen en Latijnse woorden worden initaliek gezet. De auteurs worden verzocht eenheden van het SI-systeem en internationale symbolen te gebruiken. Het gebruikvan voetnota's dient zoveel mogelijk vermeden te worden. Debedankingen worden aan het einde van de tekstgeplaatst, juist voor de literatuurlijst.

Drukproeven

De auteurs ontvangen één en indien nodig twee drukproeven.Deze dienen teruggestuurd te worden binnen de vastgesteldetermijn, zoniet zal de publikatie van het artikel naar een lateredatum verschoven worden.

Verbeteringen worden in het rood aangebracht in de marge,door middel van de conventionele tekens, leder wijzigingvan de tekst, aangebracht in de drukproef, zal aan de auteuraangerekend worden.

Instructions for contributors

The I.R.Sc.N.B./K.B.I.N. Bulletin is published annually inthree series: Biology, Entomology, Earth Sciences.Only original contributions will be considered, they can besubmitted in English, French, German or Dutch. An éditorialcommittee will referee ail papers; its décision is final, andwill be communicated to the author(s) as quickly as possible.Papers not conforming to the present instructions will berefiised.

Principly, there is no limit to the length of the paperssubmitted. However, in certain cases and afterconsulting the author(s), either shortening of thetext or a financial contribution may be requested.Manuscripts should be sent to the Editor of the Seriesconcerned.After publication, a free PDF-file on CD-ROM will be madeavailable for each contribution. Each author also receives a

free printed copy of the volume of the Series concerned.

Text

Articles should be submitted in their final form (threecopies) on DIN A4 paper, typed only recto, double-spacedthroughout and with margins on both sides of the text (4cm on the left side). Name and professional address of thepaper's author(s) should be placed after the reference-section.An article must be provided with a title, and a "runninghead", not exceeding 35 characters. Abstracts should bewritten in English and in at least one other language. Eachabstract should be followed by 3 to 6 key-words.Bibliographie references in the text should indicate the name

of the author (in small capitals) and be followed by the yearof publication, together with the exact page reference (ifappropriate), both between brackets. Original illustrations withtwo extra copies should be submitted with the manuscript.The author(s) should indicate in the margin of the text wherethe figures and tables are to be inserted. In taxonomie paperssynonymies must be as précisé as possible.Short contributions: for papers, not longer than 4 printedpages (presenting new results of a topical subject) whichcan be submitted up to two months before printing. Thesemanuscripts must also be submitted on CD-ROM or floppy(WORD).

Literature cited

Bibliographie references should be classified alphabeticallyaccording to the authors' names. Include only papersmentioned in the text of the paper. Do not abbreviate thetitles of joumals. Examples are as follows:

Tables

Tables should be type-written on separate sheets, and shouldbe numbered consecutively using arabic numerals. Eachtable must have a legend, and must have the name of theauthor.

Illustrations: figures, photographs, plates

Drawings, diagrams, photographs and plates must be ofgood quality. Authors must keep the size of the Bulletin inmind (17.6 x 24.5 cm for a full page, and 8.5 x 24.5 for one

column) when preparing illustrations, and when necessaryindicate the réduction. Each illustration must carry thename(s) of the author(s) and the number of the illustration.The legends of the illustrations should be typed on a separatepage or pages. Symbols used in the illustrations are to bedefined in the legends. It is strongly adviced to insert a scaleon drawings and photographs.

General remarks

The names of genera, species and Latin words must be initalics throughout the manuscript. Authors are requested touse SI system symbols. Footnotes should be avoided. Placeacknowledgements at the end of the text, just before thebibliographie references.

Proofs

Authors will receive one and if necessary two proofs. Thesemust be returned within the time limit indicated. If this doesnot happen, the publication of the paper will be postponedautomatically to a later date. Make corrections in red inthe margin using conventional symbols. Each change tothe original text made in proof stage will be charged to theauthor.

Le Bulletin de l'I.R.Sc.N.B. est publié annuellement en troisséries: Biologie, Entomologie, Sciences de la Terre.Seuls seront acceptés les articles originaux. Les manuscritsdoivent être rédigés en anglais, français, allemand ounéerlandais. Les articles seront soumis à un comité de lecturedont la décision est souveraine. Celle-ci sera communiquéeà l'auteur dans les meilleurs délais. Les manuscrits non

conformes aux présentes recommandations seront refusés.En principe, aucune limite n'est imposée pour la longueurdes manuscrits. Cependant, pour des articles très longs, unecontribution financière pourra être demandée à l'auteur.Les manuscrits sont à envoyer au Rédacteur en chef de laSérie concernée.Un fichier PDF de chaque article sera fourni gratuitement.Chaque auteur recevra gratuitement une copie imprimée duvolume de la Série concernée.

Texte

Le texte doit être dactylographié dans sa forme définitiveen trois exemplaires sur format DIN A4, avec des margessuffisantes (4 cm côté gauche), double interligne, rectoseulement. Il doit mentionner le(s) nom(s), le(s) prénom(s)du (des) auteur(s) et leur adresse professionnelle à placeraprès les références bibliographiques.Il doit indiquer, outre le titre, un titre abrégé (35 caractèresmaximum). Il doit être accompagné d'un résumé endeux langues, dont un en anglais. Chaque résumé serasuivi de trois à six mots-clefs. Le renvoi aux référencesbibliographiques se fera en mentionnant dans le texte lenom de Fauteur (en petites capitales), suivi de l'annéeet éventuellement de la page, placées entre parenthèses.Le manuscrit doit être accompagné des illustrations et de deuxphotocopies de chacune d'elles. L'auteur mentionnera dansla marge du texte les endroits où il souhaite voir insérer lestableaux et les figures. Dans les manuscrits taxonomiques leslistes synonymiques éventuelles doivent être aussi précisesque possible.Short contributions: rubrique pour articles ne dépassantpas 4 pages imprimées (traitant de résultats nouveaux oud'actualité) qui peuvent être soumis jusqu'à deux mois avantla mise à l'impression du volume.Le manuscrit doit également être soumis sur CD-ROM ouéventuellement sur disquette (WORD).

Les références seront classées par ordre alphabétique desauteurs et par ordre chronologique pour chaque auteur. Lestitres des périodiques ne seront pas abrégés, mais écrits entoutes lettres. Les références seront présentés de la manièresuivante:

Les dessins, photographies et planches de bonne qualitédoivent être réalisés en tenant compte de la justification duBulletin ( 17,6 x 24,5 cm pour une page entière et 8,5 x 24,5 cmpour une colonne) et de la réduction éventuelle que l'auteurprécisera. Chaque illustration portera le nom de l'auteur etle numéro de la figure. Les légendes des illustrations serontdactylographiées sur des feuilles séparées. Il est souhaitableque chaque illustration comporte une échelle.

Remarques générales

Les noms de genres et d'espèces et les mots latins seront enitalique.On utilisera les unités du système SI et les symbolesinternationaux.

L'emploi de notes infrapaginales doit être évité si possible.Les remerciements figureront a la fin du texte avant lesréférences.

Epreuves

L'auteur recevra une première et éventuellement une secondeépreuve. Les épreuves devront être renvoyées dans les délaisfixes. Tout retard entraînera la remise de la publicationà une date ultérieure. Les corrections sont apportées en
