Volunteer Resource Guide 2
About Us
The Marshall County FRN is a catalyst of change, an organization that is
responsive to the needs and opportunities in the community. Partnering
with community members and public and private organizations, the FRN
develops innovative projects and provides needed resources for area. The
FRN’s initiatives demonstrate our organization’s commitment to
community development in the region. Over the years, the FRN has
worked on building a network of collaborative relationships within the
county, understanding that our accomplishments are most successful when
we are not acting alone.
The FRN began developing this Volunteer Resource Guide with the goal
of increasing community engagement and involvement in volunteerism.
Many organizations exist in Marshall County that provide needed and
valuable services to residents that can greatly benefit from the assistance
that volunteers provide. Our aim with this undertaking is to increase
awareness of where volunteer needs exist, and to link these needs with
those who are looking for ways to give back in their local communities.
The FRN feels that involvement in volunteerism is an important
component of community engagement and we hope that this guide will
serve as a way for community members to become more involved with
service opportunities in Marshall County and the surrounding areas.
