HAPPY NEW YEAR VOLUNTEERS! Please make a New Year's resolution to help animals in 2013 that can't help themselves. Here are some ideas…

ADOPT a new family pet from a local animal shelter or rescue group. Please make sure the rescue is a true 501(c) 3 group before adopting.

SPAY OR NEUTER your pet to reduce pet overpopulation and unwanted pets.

VOLUNTEER your time at upcoming events and attend the next volunteer training on February 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation Building, 222 Columbia Street, Olympia.

DONATE to Concern for Animals. Cash, food or supply donations are an easy way to support an animal in need.

JOIN Concern for Animals and become a member.

HOST a fundraiser event that will support Concern for Animals programs or food bank.

Gratitude

Special thanks to Judy Covell who graciously offered to pick up and log food bank donations around town on a regular basis. We appreciate all that she does to help keep families together!

Bagging It

We are looking for a few volunteers to help us put treats and food into smaller plastic bags for our food bank so we are not giving out one huge box of treats or bags to one person. More to go around! And, it makes handling the larger dog food bags easier. If you can help out one afternoon or early evening next week, please email [email protected] and let us know your availability.
