What a great day for
the Shamrock Club,
our first Classic Car
& Bike show was
truly unbelievable!!!!
I had never been to a
car show so wasn’t
sure what it was all
about. Molly Truex,
Heidi Motika and their crew provided our
club with another huge success. It was
such a great time thank you so very much
for all the work you put into this. The tro-
phies, plaques, door prizes, weather, disc
jockey, food, goody bags were all out-
standing. A big thank you to Beth Berke-
mer who saved the day with a huge dis-
count from City BBQ. Thank you to Paul
Carrick and Mark Dempsey for all you
did, we couldn’t have done it without you.
The people who came loved our grounds
and club it was so nice hearing all the
good things they had to say. Next year
will be even better Molly tells me.
Well it is halfway to the big day, isn’t it??
Ann Ralston, Richie & Julie Clemons
threw another great party on Sept. 16.
Thank you for all your hard work you
couldn’t have done any better it was per-
fect.
Dart leagues have started up again so if
you are out and about on those nights
come on down visit some old friends may
be make some new ones.
We have finally found the perfect food
vendor for our kitchen. It is a husband &
wife team who have many, many years in
the food service business. It is Rob &
Christie McClaskey and they will be up
and running in October. Just watch your
weekly email blast for the date. We had 2
trial runs and by all accounts the food is
tremendous. Everything they serve is
fresh never frozen.
There is always something going on at the
club so try to stop down. We the members
can only make an event successful by
showing up so please come down and see
what you are missing I don’t think you
will be sorry you did.
Speedy recovery to Irene Kenney who had
some hand surgery this week. Please hurry
back before the office falls apart!!!!
Your board is hard at work trying to bring
you new things, old things, anything they
can think of for the success of YOUR
club. Please try to support them anyway
you can.
Lots of fun coming up in October, No-
vember, December, January, February,
March, and April.
Some great music, auction and a karaoke
night are just a few things planned.
As my Mother always said “volunteer -
you not only help the cause you get to
meet new people.”
God Bless
Mary Grady Strickland, President 2018

Treasurer’s Report
As of report submission date, the Executive Board has not yet met
to review and approve the financials for August 2017 report will
be brief.
We had a successful event for Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day!
Thank you to the event chairs and all of the volunteers to made
this a wonderful night for so many of our members, new and old
alike. Event profit is up over $1,300 compared to this time last
year: $4,700 for 2017 versus $3,360 – this does not include bar
revenues.
With the change of seasons, please look at the Club’s calendar
when making plans for an evening out or joining one of the many
dart leagues. The kitchen is back under new management and sure
to have something for everyone!
It’s never too late to join the C-Note Club or President’s Club – a
portion of each membership is allocated to every Club event. So if
you are unable to attend an event in person you can be assured
that, by being a C-Note or President’s Club level member, your
support directly impacts and is truly appreciated. Remember, it’s
YOUR Club whether you live near or far!
Respectfully,
Amy Graham - Treasurer

Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Celtic New Year Party
The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians invite you to join the Clay-
ton Stemen Fundraiser/Kids Celtic New Year Event.
Clayton Stemen is the great grandson of recently deceased Hooligan
Bob Cain, grandson of Hooligan Kevin Cain and grandson, son &
nephew to LAOH members Phyllis Cain, Lindsay Stemen and Erin
Farley. Four-year-old Clayton, his parents and family have been
working effortlessly to get him properly diagnosed with his health
ailments. Through many doctor appointments, ambulance runs and
numerous tests at Children's Hospital Columbus & now Children's
Hospital in Cincinnati, Clayton has reached a one-year milestone of being seizure free!! This is due
in large part to his response to the ever-changing medication regiments he is enduring. In an effort
to assist Clayton with this journey and attempt to ease the expense for his family we are hosting this
fundraiser on his behalf.
Please join us Sunday October 29th from 1 - 4pm at Tara Hall for the Clayton Stemen fundraiser/
Kids Celtic New Year. Scheduled performances by: kid friendly Irish historian, Irish story teller,

Cook-off that is held during the November 4th meeting.
