summer(: There was low attendance
this month, but we also didn’t have
many events. Can’t wait to see you
all in a few weeks! :D

Beach Clean-up
On Saturday July 20, we had our Region 7 beach clean-up. It is
different and BIGGER than a divisional event because you see
lots of new people. It is a great even to attend because after
you finish cleaning the beach there are many ice breakers and
games… and you have the beach right there! I unfortunately
was not able to attend this event, nor have I ever which makes
me a little disappointed, but it is a great event that I look forward
to next year.
So for those of you who do not know this, several of our members
have been participating in World Vision through the Youth
Empowerment Program (YEP) since Nov of last year. It has taught us
many things about our government, how to be a leader, and
making a change in our community. For our summit, we made a
video and the issue we chose to fight was trash. Sadly because of
budget cuts, the World Vision Program got cut. We had a lovely
BQQ and meeting on July 30th to discuss if we could partner with
the alumni and take our issue to the next level or pick a new one to
resolve.
Congratulations to Cinthia for
being this month’s member of
the month! She has been active
in attending the World Vision
meeting and volunteering at
the church every week. Keep
up the great work!
It is so awesome to be the
member of the month! I love
helping others and working with
all these awesome people
makes it all the better!
