PASSION FOR PEOPLE

I’ve always been a fan of the Chicago

Cubs even though my love for them began

in an unusual way. Growing up in a family

with 14 children meant family outings

didn’t necessarily include the whole family.

Cars rarely seat 16. So when my family

planned a trip to the zoo, my heartbroken

6-year-old self went to a Chicago Cubs

game instead.

My brother bought me my first Chicago

Cubs hat, probably to stop me from crying

over my sadness about not being at the

zoo. For some reason on that day I became

an instant Chicago Cubs fan and I’ve loved

them ever since.

When the Chicago Cubs won their first

World Series in 108 years, I was ecstatic.

Finally, the team I loved returned that love.

My feelings about the Chicago Cubs

mirror my feelings for the network market-

ing industry. Although I have experienced

tremendous success in the industry in

multiple companies, each time my journey

came to a terrible conclusion. From being

terminated on my wedding day to compa-

nies suddenly closing their doors, I knew

there had to be a better way to pursue a

career in network marketing.

And since Dave is no ordinary CEO, he’s created Valentus, an extraordinary company built by distributors, for distributors. Understanding the culture at Valentus starts with understanding Dave’s background. Dave, who clocks in at No. 10 of 14 children, began learning his values from his family. “I learned trust and honesty from a family that taught me how to be a good person,” Dave says. The values became embedded into Dave and his life, but learning reading and writing didn’t come as easily for Dave, who would later discover he had dyslexia. After repeating seventh and eighth grade for three years, Dave

went to his first day of ninth grade, which turned out to be his last day of school. “I was 16 years old and I told my mom, ‘Either you are going to let me quit school or I’ll run away to Hollywood.’” Dave knew he’d have success in Hollywood. His business roots had already started to take hold. He attended trade shows trading baseball cards and made a couple hundred dollars each show and worked a paper route at age 16. His mom knew Dave understood hard work so she let him pursue his business and his career. Dave left the school that day, but not until after he encountered his gym teacher.

Dave Jordan knows he isn’t like other CEOs. You’ll rarely find him wearing a suit and tie. He doesn’t boast of a graduate education but rather shares his experience learning from the school of hard knocks. And even though Dave knows he breaks the norm, those who know

Now the two celebrate 19 years of marriage.

“He told me I was a loser,” Dave says. “He said I would never amount to anything and that I was throwing my life away.” Although he left high school that day without a diploma, he left with a determination to prove that gym teacher wrong and make a name for himself.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS Two years after Dave left school, he opened a sports memorabilia business at 18. His ultimate goal was to provide each customer with the best experience possible. He built up a regular clientele, which included the person who would introduce Dave to network marketing. “I had no interest,” Dave says. “The company sold toothpaste, shampoo and underarm deodorant.” But when Dave learned about the compensation plan, he saw the value of the industry. He decided to host a meeting and hopefully recruit five people. He posted fliers in the sports store promising free coke, chips and a $10 gift certificate to the store to anyone who attended. Forty people attended his first meeting, and 25 joined that night. “I started sharing this with all of my

customers and the next thing you know, I was driving a new car,” Dave says. The executives noticed Dave’s talent and asked him about how he had created such a thriving business (Dave had recruited 18 of the company’s directors and above). When Dave said he only worked 1–5 hours a week, the company didn’t react well. “The company was upset and they told me I had to quit my sports memorabilia store and go full-time or they would terminate me,” Dave says. Joyce and Dave first met in 1989. She was the first girl he ever dated. Dave doubted the validity of the threat because of all of the business he brought to the company. But on his 1997 wedding day to Joyce he received a termination letter from the company. “That turned me off to the industry and I didn’t want anything to do with it,” Dave says. “So I gave up. I walked away and went back to sports full time.”

STRIKE TWO Dave immersed himself in his sports memorabilia business once again. Two years later he received a phone call from Korey Johnson, who is now a Valentus Blue

Diamond. And then another phone call. And then another phone call. “His persistence paid off, and in 1999, I rejoined the industry,” Dave says. Dave quickly added 72,000 people into the company and the direct sales industry was back to looking bright. After spending some time at Disney World (Dave admits he is still a kid at heart), he returned home to find out the company had suddenly closed its doors. The industry had once again failed Dave, so he went back to his business.

STRIKE THREE Dave’s sports memorabilia business skyrocketed with the internet and with eBay. With over 16,000 auctions a month, Dave grew his debt-free, multi-million dollar company. A hole was left in the store though when throat cancer took his dad away in 2002. Dave always looked up to his father who instilled the values of hard work and leadership into Dave. His father worked multiple jobs while raising his 14 children. In his retirement years, he enjoyed his hobbies working at Dave’s sports store. So Dave felt an emptiness in his heart and in

the store after his passing. When Dave reconnected with Korey in 2005, Korey told him about a company he discovered — a company with a product that could have helped his father. “The only reason I looked at it was I thought it was a sign from my dad to give network marketing another chance,” Dave says. “If I would have had this product in 2002, my father could still be with me.” Dave was still wary of the industry and his suspicions turned out to be true. While on a Diamond Reward Trip the vice president of the company informed Dave that one of his Diamonds would be terminated. “My Diamond called me crying,” Dave says. “It was totally malicious and wrong. I was on the verge of huge success — my checks hit $50,000 a month — but I walked away. I was done.”

A NEW CHAPTER After another dip into the industry in 2013, Dave realized he had both the skills of a distributor and the skills of a business owner. So he decided to start his own company that harnessed the power of the network marketing industry but did so with passion, integrity and a love of its distributors.

Each dimension of Valentus is fueled by love. Every product of the company is something Dave not only saw the need for, but something he wanted in his own life; such as the Prevail Immune to prevent sickness (which stems from growing up in a family of 16 where someone always had a cold) or a weight loss product which has helped him lose weight. The distributors, whom Dave calls his family, have a say in the company. From July 2014 to January 2015, the company generated over $300,000. In 2015 with the addition of Prevail SlimROAST, the company made $3 million in sales and then made over $32 million in 2016. And the growth keeps coming. “Leader after leader comes over to Valentus,” Dave says. “These are people who were making strong incomes at other companies but they want the Valentus culture.” It’s all part of Dave’s goal to create a company that fulfills the dreams of the distributors. “We help each other,” Dave says. “We are part of the family. There are a lot of people looking for a home and the company that won’t hurt them.” As the Valentus family grows, they find that Dave isn’t the typical CEO nor is Valentus the typical company. It’s where dreams are fulfilled and potential is discovered.

SHE ATTENDS MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS WITH DAVE. “JOYCE IS THE GLUE THAT KEEPS EVERYTHING TOGETHER,” DAVE SAYS. “SHE IS ONE OF THE EVENT COORDINATORS AND ADDS BEAUTY THROUGH HER ATTENTION TO DETAIL. SHE IS INVOLVED IN SO MANY DIFFERENT ELEMENTS AND WORKS WITH THE TOP LEADERSHIP.”

T he Valentus compensation plan is

regarded by established industry

professionals to be a cutting

edge plan that fundamentally

addresses the inherent flaws historically

associated with network marketing

compensation plans. Valentus launched the

robust plan on February 1, 2015, and it truly

catapulted Valentus due to the following

reasons:

• Low barrier of entry. Valentus offers

its independent representatives (IRs) a

one-time lifetime fee of only $20 (USD)

compared to other larger monthly or

annual renewal fees in the industry. This

appeals to the masses.

• Sale packages. Valentus does not

require its IRs to sell large amounts

of product just to feed a traditional

compensation plan. Valentus offers

attractive entry packages from $59 up

to $499. This is industry friendly.

• A balanced and easy-to-share compensation plan is designed to

be attractive, but not cumbersome.

You don’t need a Ph.D. in math to

understand it. There are no “gotchas”

or strategic financial breakage points

that are not paid out to deserving

distributors, like so many companies

have employed historically.

Valentus offers its IRs seven revenue

streams. The first five are paid on a weekly

basis, and the last two are paid on a monthly

basis.

1. Retail Commissions. Valentus wants its

IRs to refer people to our individual retail

websites where they’ll see the value of the

product. Customers purchase any of our

high-impact products online at attractive

market-friendly, retail prices. The referring

IR will receive a 25% retail commission

without ever having to handle any inventory

themselves.

2. Fast Start Bonus. Valentus offers up to

a 40% Fast Start Bonus based on the sales

package that is sold to a new IR or preferred

customer. For example, if someone were to

purchase the Basic Pack (one box) for $59

with 50 BV (business volume), the referring

IR would earn a 40% Fast Start Bonus on

that order equaling $20. The most exciting

element to the Fast Start Bonus is the

Business Builder Pack (BBP) for $499 with

400 BV. The Fast Start Bonus paid would be

$100, with an additional $100 allocation for

those IRs who are Legacy Code qualified to

earn this additional bonus.

3. Legacy Qualification Bonus. To become

Legacy Code qualified, the IR must

personally sponsor three IRs who have

purchased the $499 BBP. Beginning with

your fourth BBP sale and onward to infinity,

the IR will now earn the additional $100

Legacy Code bonus for every $499 BBP they

personally sponsor. Those additional IRs

sponsored from their fourth onwards will be

required to do the same; their first 3 IRs who

purchase the $499 BBP will be placed in

their Legacy Code qualified upline’s Legacy

Code that will pay the additional $100 legacy

bonus to their upline. This is an exponential

bonus, three to the power of three, which is

extremely powerful and lucrative.

4. Dual Team Cycle Commissions. Valentus

offers its IRs a $20 sales cycle commission on

every 100 BV produced on a lesser team leg

and 200 BV produced on a stronger team

leg. This is an industry leading 20% lesser

team leg commission, in a traditional sense.

The plan offers the potential of up to 5,000

cycles per week, or up to $100,000 per week

earnings potential.

5. Dual Team Matching Bonuses. This

bonus is garnering tremendous attention

in the industry for Valentus. Based on an

IRs monthly Valentus loyalty purchase

program participation, IRs can achieve

and maintain a leadership rank that offers

up to a 20% matching bonuses on all of

their personally sponsored IRs’ income

earned within their own dual-team cycle

commissions. Additionally, Valentus

team-building activities by offering up to

seven referral levels of dual team matching

bonuses on your personal enrollment tree,

6. Enrollment Bonus Pool. Paid monthly,

this pool compensates those IRs who

contributed the most during that

commission month only in terms of new

sponsoring activity. For every three IRs you

personally sponsor who purchase the BBP in

the same calendar month, you receive one

share of the 1% global company sales pool

for that corresponding month. As global

sales continue to rise, so too will the 1% total

bonus pool allocation. There is no limit as to

the number of shares you can earn in each

calendar month.

7. Vehicle Bonus. After achieving the rank

of Diamond for two consecutive months,

you’ll enjoy a car bonus starting at $400 for

a vehicle of your choice. As you advance your

Diamond leadership rank, you will enjoy

up to $3,000 per month for your qualified

car bonus. IRs are not required to drive a

certain make, model or color; and, if you’re

not interested in a new vehicle, Valentus will

instead pay you 50% cash for the bonus you

A t the time I produced “Right or

Almost Right,” I had almost 30

years in network marketing and

I had traveled extensively. I met

so many sharp, hard-working, good-quality

people who were seemingly doing everything

right and yet weren’t making the money they

expected. They asked, “Why? Why am I not

seeing the success I anticipated?”

So I asked the question, “Are they doing

it right or almost right?” My book ,“Right

or Almost Right,” addresses what we do in

our everyday activities — our DMO (Daily

Method Of Operation) — and talks about

the little adjustments we can make to build

success. The subtitle, “The Fine Line Between

Phenomenal Success and Average Results

in Network Marketing,” says it all. It’s the fine

line, the little adjustments, the nuances, that

get us to success.

I discuss five elements extensively in the

book and I’ll discuss them briefly here.

They are the company, the product, the

compensation, the timing and the training.

If two of these elements are missing you’re

going to struggle. It does not matter how

talented you are or how hard you work.

These missing elements will drag you down.

I look for these elements and Valentus has

them, plus what makes Valentus special is

the sixth element — culture.

Critical element 1: The company Valentus is debt-free. It has huge

experience. It’s not a company run by a

bunch of accountants and executives. It’s run

by someone who has done what we do.

Dave Jordan used to be a distributor so

he knows what it’s like. In any company,

management and sales are always at odds.

Having someone running the show who

really knows what we do on a daily basis is

a big plus. The infrastructure that is in place

makes us debt-free and profitable.

Critical element 2: The product I spent most of my life in the industry

selling supplements and convincing people

to do things. When it comes to coffee, most

of us are already drinking it and already

spending money on it. When you couple that

with weight loss, it’s a no-brainer. You’re never

going to leave the house without drinking a

cup of coffee. To think that you could drink a

cup of coffee that could help you lose weight

is the easiest thing I’ve ever talked about and

all of our products are equally powerful.

You can’t NOT SELL weight loss coffee. You

would have to make a conscious, deliber-

ate decision not to mention it. As soon as

you mention weight loss coffee people say,

“Where can I get it?” and the line begins to

form.

of money. About 40–50 percent of revenue is

dedicated to the compensation plan

We’re at that 50+ percent, so we’re at the

high end of what’s funding the compensa-

tion plan. That’s how the Valentus plan steps

above many of the other companies. We

don’t have the gotchas, hurdles or structure

requirements that many companies have.

The plan is really well-balanced and there’s

something in it for everyone.

Critical element 4: The timing Every company tells you the timing is

perfect but timing is a factor or number and

there are only two numbers that matter —

the monthly sales and how many distribu-

tors there are. If either of those two numbers

are big you have already missed it from a

timing standpoint.

If you study companies as I have, they are

very predictable. When a company is less

than $2 million a month, the risk is high and

there’s no evidence of success. Everyone

wants to quit.

Timing is best explained by using a fishing

analogy. A start-up company is like fishing

in bad weather when the fish are not biting

and everybody wants to quit and go home.

As the company approaches $2 million a

month in sales, it’s as if the sky cleared, you

moved over a school of fish and now the fish

are biting. This is called momentum. As the

company continues to grow the fishing gets

better and better and better.

Then at $8 million to $10 million it’s as if

the sky opens and the fish start jumping

in the boat. The masses pour in. It’s called

critical mass. Now people make money fast,

but the real money is made by people who

started when the company was at $2 to $10

million. Now you’re not fishing with just one

line but you have multiple lines dragging

behind the boat.

There’s opportunity at every level, but the

big money is made by people who built a

base in that sweet spot between $2 million

and $10 million. That’s where Valentus is to-

day and that’s why every one of us is working

so hard.

Critical element 5: The training We have all the necessary tools to build

your business. Everyone is on the same page

and we’ve got a system in place with web-

sites, conference calls, three-way calls, events

and a unique Powerline system so that

people can pre-enroll and see the system

working for them.

Critical element 6: The culture We’re one of very few companies in the

history of the industry to have this sixth ele-

ment. It’s that something special that’s hard

to explain. It’s the energy, the vibe, the culture,

the environment.

I believe it ties back to Dave and Joyce Jor-

dan and their character. They’ve been in the

field and truly love not just the industry, but

also their distributors and do everything they

can to help them. In all my years in network

marketing, I haven’t experienced a culture

like this. They’ve got the magic touch. If I had

to sum up this sixth element in one word it

would be HEART.

The Small Step Philosophy: “Every step you take counts”. No matter how insignificant it may seem

at the time, every decision you make counts.

Your decisions have led you to where you are

today.

There are two types of people: a large

group where nothing seems to work for

them and a much smaller group where ev-

erything works, they seem to have the magic

touch. You could take two people with iden-

tical circumstances but they would make

different decisions and see different results.

It’s all about the decisions we make.

The decisions I made when I started out

in this industry as a maintenance person

and the decisions I continue to make have

got me to where I am today and affected

hundreds of thousands of people.

My book will help you make better deci-

sions and it will help you make those fine

adjustments to move you from struggling

to seeing massive success. I promise you will

How Don and Nancy Carson turned apersonal trial into a business triumph

and Nancy Carson

found Valentus in

the wake of an awful

boating accident. Another

boat dangerously crossed in

front of them and left them

both with significant injuries.

Their recovery slowed down

their activity level, which led

to weight gain. They struggled

to take it off and felt their

against them as they aged.

Wilson was intro-

duced to the direct

sales industry in 1989

by a college professor. Upon

that fateful introduction, Ted

embarked on learning every-

thing he could about the power

of leverage. Ted had already

earned a formal education in

kinesiology and nutrition, but

Mike McClenaghan is

A s a traditional

business owner

in the hot tub

industry, Mike

McClenaghan knew just how

much hard work is required

to keep a business running

smoothly. And it’s because of

this knowledge he was always

interested in the unique bene-

fits of network marketing.

For example, he loved the

idea of creating an income

stream that didn’t require him

to shoulder the expenses of a

brick-and-mortar storefront,

deal with the headaches of

managing employees or take

on the stress of waiting for your

next sale.

“In a traditional business,

you’re only as good as your next

sale,” Mike says. “In network

marketing, the company has

built the infrastructure and cre-

ated the products. Then they

just give you the track to run

on. You pay a small fee to start

and have a chance to build a

six-figure business.”

Mike has worked with a few

network marketing companies

in the past, but never hit his

stride until Valentus.

One of the biggest things

that drew Mike to the compa-

ny was amazing culture built

by the corporate staff and top

business builders. And he loved

the universal appeal and sim-

plicity of the product line.

“Weight loss is always going

to be a big thing in the world,

and I like that there isn’t a

catalog of 400 products — just

a small group of functional

beverages,” he explains.

The products — specifically

Energy — have helped Mike

drop 30 pounds and find re-

newed energy.

“I drink coffee anyways, so I

might as well drink one that

helps me maintain my weight!”

he says.

At 61, Mike is able to still play

hockey and keep up with his

active 13-year-old twin sons,

Liam and Max.

For Mike, his “why” is his

family, and it gives him the

motivation he needs to put in

the extra hours for his Valentus

business on top of his hot tub

business. Three-way calls and

Super Saturday events have

helped Mike establish his busi-

ness and team. And teamwork

makes the dream work.

“In order for me to succeed,

my team has to succeed,” he

says.

Thanks to Mike’s Valentus

earnings, he and his wife Alexis

were able to take their sons on

their first-ever family vacation

to Mexico this year.

“It’s not cheap to raise a

family these days, but Valentus

is helping us with this extra

income,” Mike says.

Beyond vacations, Mike’s

“It’s a relief not to worry about

something that might come

up with our kids or our retire-

ment,” he says.

couldn’t have come

at a better time.

Facing foreclosure on his home

and with over $75,000 in credit

card debt, things looked bleak.

All of that changed the day

Barry met Ted Wilson. Bar-

ry’s and Ted’s sons attended

hockey goalie camps together

and they immediately hit it off.

Barry was involved in a network

marketing company when Ted

first talked to him about Valen-

tus. Barry was immediately

drawn to Valentus because the

company was still in its infancy

and he would have an oppor-

tunity to be a part of creating

the fabric and culture of the

company.

Barry was equally impressed

“I could see his integrity,

first introduction,” Barry says.

“I knew I had found my future

With support from company

leadership and belief in the

products, Barry went to work.

He began by sharing the vision

“I went from lying in bed at

Barry’s Valentus adventure

has expanded his horizons

through travel. After helping

build a large team in the

United Kingdom, Barry recently

Barry’s wife Jennifer has

been a constant support

since day one, even when

things were not easy as he

was getting his business up

and running. The hard work

is now being rewarded in the

form of stress-free quality time

with their two sons, Dylan (21)

and Liam (17). Whether it’s

spending time on the family

boat, skiing or playing hockey,

Barry and Jennifer get to put

family first. Another example

of how Barry’s life has changed

within the Valentus model was

when his father passed away

suddenly last summer. He was

able to fly out and be with

family immediately.

“I didn’t have to ask my boss

for time off or worry about how

much the plane ticket was

going to cost,” he says. “I simply

was able to give all of myself, in

support of family, during this

difficult time.”

And the flexibility of network

marketing can’t be beat.

“I have the luxury of being

able to vacation where I want,

with who I want and work

where I want on my own

schedule,” he says. “I don’t have

to miss any of my kids’ events

and I get to be present and

supportive of my wife versus

passing each other through the

door as each goes to work.”

Barry adds, “I am filled with

gratitude each day because my

life has been changed in a way

that I can’t even describe. And

even better, I get to help other

people dream again, too.”

KEEPING IT SIMPLE

The ease of Valentus appeals to Rick Jerrells

In 2005, Rick Jerrells was

a top earner in another

company but he was also

building relationships

that would shape his future in

Valentus. Rick, Valentus CEO

Dave Jordan and Valentus Blue

Diamond Korey Johnson were

three of the top earners in the

company. Rick saw the work

ethic of both Dave and Korey,

so when Dave asked Rick to

join Valentus in 2014, Rick

immediately jumped on board.

“I knew Dave had a lot of

good connections and he

was a great marketer so I was

excited to work with him,” Rick

says.

But beyond his experience

with Dave, Rick’s experience

in network marketing had

laid a foundation for what he

knew to look for in a direct

sales company. His No. 1

requirement was simplicity.

“The business needs to be

simple when you are running

a home-based business,” Rick

says.

The sampling program of

the drinks showcased the

simplicity. Instead of asking

someone to spend $500 on a

product, people can sample

the product and experience

the benefits for themselves as

well as taste the deliciousness.

“The ease of the business

makes it unique and much

easier than a pill-or-potion type

of company,” he says.

Rick builds his Valentus

business through a daily

method of operation. He sets a

goal of how many new people

to contact in a day or in a week.

Then he lets the products

speak for themselves.

“When people sample the

products, they get results,”

he says. “It’s a valid business

without spending a ton of

money. It’s duplicatable.”

But it’s not only the products

that make Valentus powerful.

The products paired with the

compensation plan make

Valentus stand out in the

industry.

“The compensation is simple

to understand and pays out in

so many different ways,” Rick

says. “The ease at which you

can see your money and where

it’s coming from is important.”

Building a network comes

easier now than it did back

when Rick first met Dave in

1999.

“There’s Facebook; there’s

LinkedIn — there are so

many more ways to expose a

business,” he says. “The world

is smaller because of the

internet.”

The simplicity and ease of

the company make it easy for

anyone to join.

“There are so many people

making money in this

particular company that never

made money in networking

before,” Rick says. “This truly is a

winning opportunity and those

don’t come along very often.”

Rick’s personal favorite

product is Prevail Energy

which fuels his athleticism.

“It’s the best thermogenics

in the marketplace,” he says.

According to John, the secret to success is consistency. “If you’re

not consistent, then you’re starting over all the time,” John says.

To help with this, John has his “daily method of operation,”

which he says should be as natural for someone as brushing

their teeth in the morning or getting dressed every day. “It’s just

something you do.”

working in network

marketing, John

Haremza has

learned a thing or two. Nearly

three decades ago he didn’t

know quite so much, but he

had the same drive he has

today.

John graduated from high

school with an education, but

the self-proclaimed introvert

had dyslexia and no self-

esteem. He became a welder

at a potato chip factory after

graduation. Shortly after, he

was introduced to network

marketing and discovered he

could sell opportunity, not just

a product; he was hooked.

If the people selling the

product believe in it, the

company will thrive, John says.

Or, in his words, “People buy

people.”

John is true to this

philosophy. When he stops

believing in a company or its

products, he isn’t afraid to go

off on a new venture. “When

you lose your belief, you’re

really sunk,” he says.

This resulted in John working

with four different network

marketing companies and

bringing in millions of dollars.

Then he found Valentus, his

“new home.”

John was confident walking

away from his high-paying

position because he personally

knew Valentus founder Dave

Jordan. At a previous company,

John was a master distributor

and Dave was one of the top

three sellers.

“I knew the owner, knew

behind the curtain,”

John says. “I knew

him as a person.”

Loving the product

— his personal favorite is Prevail

SlimROAST — certainly helped

him jump on board with the

company as well. After all,

people sell people and John

wouldn’t come over if he didn’t

believe in the product.

John authored the book

“Right or Almost Right: The Fine

Line Between Phenomenal

Success and Average Results in

Network Marketing.”

In the book, John discusses

how to be successful in

network marketing. He outlines

five critical elements for a

company’s success: company,

product, compensation, timing,

and support and training

systems.

John says Valentus has all five

of these elements, but also has

the elusive sixth — it’s unique

and special; it has the culture

and the people, the energy and

the vibe. And John couldn’t be

more thrilled about it.

“I have 28 years in the

industry and I’m more excited

today than I’ve ever been,” John

says. “I believe this will be the

biggest thing I’ve ever done. All

of the elements for success are

clearly in place.”

And if you happen to not find

him working? He might just

be off catching fish instead of

sales. Whether it’s Arctic char in

the Northern Territories, salmon

B ill and Avril Mac-

Munn have the

coveted corner

office with a view of

the mountains and ocean, but

don’t have to leave their house

to get there. They work from

their home, which overlooks

the Pacific Ocean and is a

3-minute walk from the shore.

It hasn’t always been this way

though. Bill spent 30 years as

a general manager in the auto

industry, but knew he’d have to

make a change to better plan

for retirement. That’s when he

initially looked into network

marketing, and he hasn’t been

disappointed.

For 30 years, Bill developed

teams of leaders in three other

direct sales companies earning

a full-time income while work-

ing part time.

Now with Valentus, Bill and

Avril have the health, wealth

and time freedom they’ve

always wanted — and the team

that helps make it happen.

“We have found our legacy

opportunity,” Bill says. “Our

Bill and Avril have put their

hobbies on the shelf while

they focus on their family and

become their hobby.

And health and happiness

are linked, they say. Valentus

isn’t a weight loss product, Bill

says. The benefit is the healthy

lifestyle it promotes.

“The body is a miracle,” Bill

says. “The body will change the

individual if you give it what it

needs.”

So what’s in store next for the

happy couple? They bought a

trailer and are hitting the road

former professional tennis

player and pilot decided

to bring that attitude into

network marketing. “Just

put ‘professional’ in front of

whatever you are,” Chris says.

“That’s why I make what I

make.”

Chris now has his car, an

ocean view home at Cardiff-

by-the-Sea and the lifestyle

he wants — all while getting

to help people. “It’s the best

relation between time freedom

and money. You’re working less

and making more.”

Chris isn’t afraid of hard work

though. At the beginning, he

says, you have to work like a

dog in order to get where you

want. Initially Chris wasn’t

interested in the company,

although that quickly changed.

He thought he would just be

getting a free box of products

to try, and didn’t realize he’d

make a career out of it. The

person who referred him

followed up, and then Chris

talked with Dave Jordan.

After 30 years in the network

marketing industry, Chris says

he picks up on things most

people don’t realize.

“I got a gut feeling when

talking with Dave,” Chris says.

“What this guy is a part of, I

want to be a part of it.”

Now, he has found his home

in Valentus. “I won’t ever have

to do this ever again. I’m locked

and loaded for the long term.”

Chris joined Valentus in

February 2015 and has quickly

implemented his professional

mentality to find success.

A lot of people have false

expectations of how network

marketing works and how to

be successful, he says. “I know

what it takes: consistency

and showing by example. You

have to expose the product to

people every day.”

Part of that consistency

for Chris, who calls himself a

“phone monster,” is making a

lot of phone calls.

“I shake hands through the

phone all day long,” he says. “I

just talk to them and I just find

out about people.”

Chris believes — and has the

numbers to prove it — people

will develop a natural curiosity

about the product and be

more likely to join after he

shows a genuine interest.

And he believes in the

product, too. Chris works out

six days a week and has a

completely plant-based diet.

He’s obviously healthy, and

he loves using the Valentus

products. He’s not a big coffee

drinker, so just a little of the

Prevail Energy sometime in

the morning will keep the busy

entrepreneur going all day —

whether it’s on the phone, in

the gym or strolling through

the beach town he gets to call

home.

come at the most

unexpected times

and places, like

at goalie training. Mike King

met Valentus’ Ted Wilson

when their sons were at a

hockey camp. The talk turned

to Valentus and an offer Mike

couldn’t refuse.

“Ted said everything right and

attracted me to the products.

The products turned into a

passion that I wanted for my

friends and family,” Mike says.

“That grew into a profitable,

successful network marketing

business.”

Mike’s first network marketing

business, to be exact. For the

past 20 years, Mike has serviced

power lines around Alberta,

Canada, as the owner of Ultra

Power Construction Ltd. The

Vegreville, Alberta resident has

spent years working outside

in sometimes cold, windy and

harsh conditions. He says he

loves how Valentus products

have made him feel.

“I have lost approximately 35

pounds, but it’s not the weight

that I’m excited about. I got

my zest for life and my energy

back,” he says. “I’m not sluggish

anymore, I don’t get back pain

anymore. I’ve worked outside

my whole life so my joints are

sore from being frozen and

thawed and frozen so many

times. Valentus products have

helped that.”

Mike is a Triple Diamond

distributor and has grown

a successful, home-based

business that allows him to

spend time with his three

children: Danielle Marie,

21, Brett, 18, and Adyson,

He has a slogan that he shares

with his children, a recipe for

his success: “Be an example,” he

says. “Not an excuse.”

Mike’s other key to

succeeding is to really listen to

others and to try to duplicate

their success. “It’s so plain and

simple, and yet some people

still can’t get it,” Mike says. “Just

listen, and learn.”

When he’s not running two

successful businesses, Mike

has a property near a lake

where he likes to escape.

He enjoys riding ATVs and

snowmobiles, and doing water

sports such as water-skiing and

wakeboarding. He says that

after two decades of long hours

with his power line-servicing

company, he’s been able to

spend more time with his

W ith triplets

about to turn

11, Michael

and Teresa

McCormick could use all the

extra energy they could get.

Thanks to Valentus, they can

(mostly) keep up with their

busy children.

Michael and Teresa were

first mailed a Valentus sample

in April 2016. “When we tried

the product, we knew we had

something special,” Michael

says. “No doubt about it.”

The couple didn’t think life

could get any busier, between

their business and children, but

life did just that. However, they

don’t regret it: “It’s a lot busier,

but fun. It’s more complete,”

Thomas Fraser went from federal inmate to prosperous business owner

with the help of Valentus

Thomas “Tommy

Swoles” Fraser says

he’s not your typical

network marketing

success story. Sure, he’s built an

enviable business. In two years,

he reached Triple Diamond

and enjoys a six-figure income.

But when he talks about the

ability of Valentus to change

lives, he has a powerful person-

al story to prove it.

A few years ago, Thomas

was released from a Canadian

federal prison after serving

time for directing a criminal

organization. With no income

or real prospects, the Kelow-

na, British Columbia, resident

needed a break. And Dave

Jordan was willing to give him

a true second chance.

Now, Thomas’ goal is to reach

as many people as possible

with the message that “it

doesn’t matter how far you

have fallen if you truly want a

better life and are willing to do

the work. Anything is possible

with the right opportunity.”

For Thomas, Valentus was

that exact right opportunity.

He’s close to reaching Blue Di-

amond status and has spoken

on a global stage for the com-

pany. He and his sister, Sarah

Fraser, a Valentus Diamond,

are among the founders of

the company’s 12in24 Lifestyle

movement.

“It’s all about family, friends

and getting out there, being

active,” Thomas says.

Thomas, himself, has ex-

perienced dramatic weight

loss thanks to Valentus and

healthy choices. At his heaviest,

the 5-foot, 9-inch member of

Okanagan Nation weighed

327 pounds. Now he fluctuates

between 210 and 250 pounds

of solid muscle and has the

physique of a body builder.

He says he wants to help

others pursue health, wealth

and happiness. “Success only

happens if you are helping ev-

erybody else,” Thomas says. It’s

a motto he lives by: He recently

bought his mother, Marlene, a

titanium-package Ford Escape.

When he’s not building

his business, Thomas enjoys

creative writing and playing

racquetball and handball.

With big muscles and an even

bigger personality, he’d like to

someday break into acting. But

he’s already living a life beyond

what he ever considered possi-

ble a decade ago.

For Thomas, success lies in

both vision and hard work.

“Dream big,” he says. “And

then wake up and build your

dream.”

Wrapshell says she likes to experiment with the different Valentus

products, adding pineapple to Prevail Trim drinks to give her

energy for workout sessions at the gym. She believes in a healthy

Wrapshell Alderson built a

global business and reached

Triple Diamond status with

Valentus in fewer than two

years.

Wrapshell was working as

a real estate agent in Shasta

County, California, when she

joined Valentus in July 2015.

Some of the most immediate

results she saw were physical.

The 5-foot, 1-inch Philippines

native went from 125 pounds

to 103 pounds in three months

and now wears a size 00.

She also saw her business

take off rapidly, a stark contrast

to waiting months and months

for commissions on short

sales and foreclosure

properties as a realtor.

Working for Valentus, she says,

“is like closing escrow every

Friday.”

As her network expanded to

places such as the Philippines,

Hong Kong and the United

Kingdom, Wrapshell decided

to stop selling real estate and

throw her whole focus into

Valentus. Initially, she worked

14- to 16-hour days to recruit

and train business partners.

Wrapshell says she wants to

do everything she can to help

her distributors be self-reliant,

successful industry leaders —

even if that means taking calls

from Japan or Singapore at

odd hours.

When she’s not working, she

hikes and goes on fishing trips

with her husband, John, and

her daughter, Jonell.

If they need her, Wrapshell’s

distributors know she is just a

phone call, text or social media

message away.

“You have to put your heart

into it,” Wrapshell says. “If you

put your time, your effort,

your mind into one thing, you

will accomplish more. That’s

why I dedicated my time and

energy to one thing, and that’s

S hani Whelan tried

Valentus products

simply wanting to

lose a few pounds

for an upcoming vacation —

what she didn’t know was that

it would change her life.

After losing the weight, Shani

gained a belief in the products.

her daily regimen. It prompted

her to explore the the compa-

loved the network marketing

industry, but was struggling

in her current company. Just

when she was starting to lose

faith in herself, Valentus gave

her current company and part-

one else that she had made

the right choice. So she poured

herself into building her Valentus

business.

“I went all in,” Shani says. “I took

massive action everyday — before,

during and after my day job.”

Shani told anyone and every-

one about Valentus.

Her consistent effort paid

off, and she started to see the

checks roll in.

She developed a strong team

and watched them climb

the ranks. She was overjoyed

watching people she had

introduced to Valentus soar.

One of her friends qualified for

the company’s car plan and

bought a home at age 24.

As a leader, Shani is hands-

on. When she learns a new skill

or has new insight, she turns

around and teaches it to her

team. And she seeks to involve

and motivate everyone, from

Shani’s Valentus journey also

led her to become a self-im-

provement junkie, devouring

books and podcasts on busi-

ness and personal growth.

“To be successful in this

industry you have to constantly

grow, develop and improve

your mindset,” Shani says. “Your

Living in Leicester, United

Kingdom, Shani is an ambassa-

“It’s an opportunity of a life-

Shani says. “There have been

many bumps in the road, but

we continue to pave the way for

a new generation of leaders.”

Not only does Shani have

the flexility to work on the go

and travel whenever she likes,

friends. Shani and her partner,

Matt, treated Shani’s family to

an all-inclusive trip to Mexico

earlier this year.

Karen Ford initially

joined network

marketing to

support her two

sons as a single mother. She

discovered it was her life’s true

calling. Decades later, she had

worked with several different

companies, and was looking for

a new company to align with.

“I honestly thought at 63, I

might just be too picky,” she

says.

Her friend Mike McCormick

changed her tune. He told

her about Valentus’ products

and she told him he was out

of his mind. She thought it

they sounded too good to be

true. She trusted her longtime

friendship with Mike though,

and committed to try the prod-

ucts.

A week later, she was 6.8

pounds lighter and a her

curiosity was piqued. She

was convinced the products

worked, but wondered if they

worked long term. She privately

messaged two different women

who had used the products to

successfully lose weight and

keep it off. One had used Valen-

tus products for six months, the

other had been successfully

used them for a year.

“I knew it worked in the short

term from my own success, but

I wanted to see if it could stand

the test of time,” Karen says.

Talking to these women

and being touched by their

stories was proof to Karen that

Valentus was the real deal. She

signed up and went all in.

Karen had big goals and she

knew the only way to achieve

them was to put her blinders

on and work, work, work.

“My motto has always been,

you can have excuses or you

can make money — but you

can’t have both,” she says.

She did Zoom calls. She

she affectionately calls “table

gatherings.”

“People don’t like to go to

meetings, but they do like to

meet up and drink coffee,” she

says.

One of the things that made

Karen was that coffee is some-

thing most people already

know how to do and love.

“I don’t have to teach people

how to drink coffee,” she says.

“I simply tell them, ‘Hey, if you

can change your brand, I can

change your life.’”

But Karen knows that she

isn’t just sharing coffee, she is

sharing hope.

“Valentus gives people a sip of

faith, a sip of determination, a

sip of love,” she says. “My team

knows I am there to coach

them, teach them, love them,

laugh with them and cry with

them.”

When it comes to mentoring

her team, Karen helps people

define their why and then set

up a daily method of oper-

ations to make their goals a

reality.

She focuses on seeing the “di-

she meets.

“It’s my job to see that sparkle

in others and helps them bring

it out,” she says.

A few years ago, Karen started

looking at her retirement funds

and realized that while she had

financial security, it was tied up

in real estate. Which is why she

decided to make another push

retire with comfort.

“I want to retire and do things

I enjoy, not just what I can

afford,” she says.

Karen loves being able to

work from her home in Char-

lottesville, Virginia. When she
