Questions / Fields of action 1. The organization surrounding the assignment process (pre-assignment trip, information

about the contract, visa, relocation, etc.) was good.

2. The preparatory measures for my assignment (including intercultural training, language course) were good.

3. Integration into the host country department is / was successful.

4. Contact with the home country department during the assignment is good.

5. I feel well-supported by the Human Resources department (HR department for global assignments / local HR department) of the home company.

6. I feel well-supported by the Human Resources department of the host company (Personnel department / service partners as for example relocation agency).

Examples of decided measures

• Introduction of an emergency hotline, aiming to optimize medical aid for Impatriates (Audi Hungaria Motor)

• Participation in the employee leasing programme for Impatriates without a local contract, in order to improve the mobility of the accompanying families (AUDI AG)

• Increase of transparency in the reintegration process via standardization of communication, regular meetings between Global Assignments and national personnel departments and 12-month preview of repatriates (Seat)

• Meeting between Global Assignments, home personnel department and technical area, 2 months before repatriation as a standard, fixed element of the personal development plans, supporting the reintegration process (Skoda Auto)

• Survey for Impatriates regarding the quality of the Relocation Service Provider, as a result agreement upon new service packages with the providers (VW AG)

• Formation of an interdisciplinary task force, with the aim of systematically analizing and optimizing the process of reintegration (VW AG)

• Distribution of a checklist to FSE containing necessesary activities and information for the process of reintegration (VW China Investment Co. Ltd)

• Handout of a bilingual information brochure about the company within the framework of the Pre-Assignment-Trip (VW Argentina)
