VoiceLine Calling Card Integration VoiceLine customers can now use their account to place calling card calls, allowing them to make low-cost calls even when they are away from their VoiceLine device. Your customers benefit from having an additional way to save and you can profit from their increased minutes usage. The Process Customers must initially enable this feature by dialing *00 from their VoiceLine-connected phone and pressing 1 after the prompt. After that, the feature is active unless a customer chooses to disable it. Callers simply dial one of the U.S. or Canadian VoiceLine access numbers from any touch-tone telephone. When prompted, they enter their VoiceLine telephone number, PIN and the number they want to call. Calling card calls are billed separately, no matter what type of plan a customer has or where they are calling. All calling card calls are deducted from a customer’s reserve fund (not from their calling plan). Customers are charged their plan’s overage rates for calling card calls and can view these rates at www.myaccountcenter.net. Target Customers VoiceLine customers who can most benefit from this new functionality include: • Customers living in the U.S. and Canada • Customers traveling in the U.S. and Canada These callers can simply dial one of the U.S. or Canadian local access numbers to place low-cost calls from any touch-tone telephone. Marketing Tool We have created a pocket-sized instruction sheet that lists all of the U.S. and Canadian local access numbers. Please make sure to send this sheet to your customers and post it on your Web site.
