Leading trendy Thai fashion label CPS CHAPS unveiled their latest collection�Winter 2013� at Ekamai hotspot Sonic on Tuesday August 6th.

Over 30 international models hit the catwalk led by Thai superstar PloyChermarn Boonyasak. More than 60 sets of clothes were presented in threekey looks: La Vie En Rose, using rose patterns in black, red, white and gold,Wild Rock, inspired by tiger and leopard skins, and Jeans Wear, featuring twodifferent styles for ladies (Destroyed Jeans and Signature Jeans) and a rangefor men.

Thai rock bands Big Ass and Toon Body Slam performed mini concerts inbetween shows.

Kisso Makes a Welcome Return at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit

Now, Kisso Japanese restaurant returns with a new look and enhanced atmosphere. Renovations have made for a strikinglycontemporary interior yet one balanced with warm and cosy elements, for example, rows of earthenware pots rising high above woodflooring. An open kitchen design, moreover, contributes to a lively yet at once discreet atmosphere. There�s a buzz, but an alwaysfinely calibrated one that resonates in the main dining area, about Kisso�s sushi bar and even in its private tatami rooms.

One thing is certainly remaining, however, and that is what made the restaurant such a firm favourite: outstanding Japanese food thatmaintains fidelity to the country�s culinary traditions.

Upholding and expanding those traditions is Chef Shinsuke Yonekawa. Muchtravelled, he honed his craft with posts aboard a cruiseship, in the Philippines and then back in Japan, where he incorporated newfound perspectives on his native cuisine at prestigiousrestaurants in Tokyo and Osaka. Central to Chef Yone�s approach is importance given to seasonal variation, as reflected in hiscontinually changing menu highlights based on availability of ingredients imported fresh from Japan.

Thus, Kisso begins its third decade in the Thai capital. To its new look and feel, add the considerable skills and insights of a masterfulchef � not to mention the plaudits of knowledgeable diners who�ve long known Kisso as almost a byline under superbly composedcuisine � and the news is very good indeed.

Kisso. It�s a Japanese term meaning �good news�. In this case, a restaurant�s name has provided its own headline. With the return ofKisso Japanese restaurant at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok, all authorities on Japanese cuisine greatly welcome the report.

During its 20 years at a single Bangkok location, in The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Kisso has gained a reputation as a favouriteamong the city�s Japanese expatriate community and all who appreciate the work of skilled chefs preparing a wellconsidered menu.

Dusit Thani�s Revamped Meeting Rooms



La Lanta Fine Art is pleased to announce a new painting exhibition by a Dallas based artist, Michele Mikesell. The title �Circus� isinspired by a quote from an American writer and poet Charles Bukowski �We�re all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That aloneshould make us love each other but it doesn�t. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.�

In �Circus�, Mikesell presents her new technique incorporating brushing, wiping, scraping and sanding paint, resulting in abeautifully textured surface which adds depth and personality to her characters. Mikesell sees humanity in what some would say aredark places. She believes these dark places are where we draw our strength and our creativity. She portrays what she sees in thehuman condition. She sees strength, bravery, solitude and isolation in humanity. Her paintings are about the universal humanexperience. �Circus� will be on display from August 31 until September 26, 2013.
