IntroductionTMACC has developed comprehensive protocols for the operation of the Cableway
in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
These protocols align with the Disaster Management Act, 2002, The Regulations for
Hazardous Biological Agents, Covid-19 Occupational Health and Safety Measures in
Workplaces Covid-19 (C19 OHS), 2020 and DoH guidelines and advice, and will be
revisited as required on an on-going basis. They cover visitor information, PPE, social
distancing, sanitisation and hygiene practices, among others, for staff and visitors.
1 | Designated Covid-19 TeamCOVID Manager
A COVID-19 Manager has been specially appointed to ensure the implementation of and
adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for the risk mitigation of COVID-19 in the
workplace, as required by Government Notice NO. 479 29 APRIL 2020 - 479 Disaster
Management Act (57/2002): Covid-19 Occupational Health and Safety Measures in
Workplaces Covid-19 (C19 OHS), 2020 and the Risk Adjustment Strategy Regulations of
29 April 2020.

A COVID-19 Compliance Officer has been
appointed to develop a plan together
with the COVID-19 Response Team
for the phased in return of workers to
the workplace, prior to reopening the
workplace for business.

2 | Communication & SignageVisitors will be given extensive information and briefings on COVID-19 protocols when
entering TMACC property. Easy-to-read information will be provided in conspicuous
places through signage and notices.
• Hand sanitising and correct hand washing
• Physical distancing – spacing and queues
• Use of masks – detail on proper use
• Brief explanation of COVID-19 symptoms
Cabin masters will provide information and instruction in the cable cars on the way up.

3 | Staff TrainingEXTENSIVE COVID-19 INDUCTION TRAINING HAS BEEN TO PROVIDED TO ALL STAFF PRIOR TO STARTING WORK AFTER THE NATIONAL LOCKDOWN
1. Induction Training
All staff have attended a COVID-19 induction and have been informed about:
• The virus, how it is spread, the symptoms
• The daily screening procedures
• The required sanitisation and social distancing procedures for themselves and for visitors
• The effective use of PPE and what PPE they must use
2. Screening and Temperature Checking
All staff members’ temperatures will be taken with a non-contact thermometer on arrival
and a daily screening log will be kept.
3. Social Distancing and Sanitising
The use of staggered rostering, workstation risk assessments and barriers. Staff room
rosters have been compiled to ensure social distancing measures are complied with.
4. PPE
All staff must wear masks at all times, the Cableway has provided 2 re-usable cloth
masks and 1 screen per staff member.
5. Vulnerable Persons
The Cableway is committed to protect and manage vunerable employees and have
compiled a clear and transparent policy of appropriate procedures to be followed by
these employees in the workplace and beyond. These policies and procedures are based
on legislative provisions specific to the sector.
6. Isolating room and process to manage staff who are diagnosed with Covid-19
Isolation procedures have been established and positive cases will be handled carefully
so as to not place other staff members at risk.
7. Contractors and Suppliers
All contractors are required to complete a COVID-19 symptom check prior to visiting
site. A record of all contractors and suppliers will be kept following our established
contractor management system in addition to COVID-19 screening.

1. Sanitising
• All visitors will be required to sanitize their hands when entering the premises. Staff
working at the entrance gate will provide hand sanitizer to everybody entering.
• Visitors will be required to re-sanitize their hands on entry to the cable car.
• Foot-operated sanitizing stations will be available in areas such as till points.
2. Face Masks
All visitors are required to wear face-masks.
1. Queue 1.5 meter stickers or tape will be placed on the floor wherever there is a need
to queue and there will be a staff member monitoring the queues.
2. Lifts The lifts will be closed, however access will be available for use by disabled
persons.
3. Cable Cars The maximum capacity is 26 Persons +1 (Cabin Master). Stickers will
be placed on the floor of the cable car indicating where visitors will stand during their 3
minute journey. The wearing of masks is compulsory, and no-touch sanitizer is available
in the cable cars, All railings and touch points will be sanitized between trips and 4
windows will be removed at all times.

Sanitizer is available at all touch points within retail outlets.
Door management – only a limited number of people in the retail space to observe social
distancing protocol, wearing of masks is compulsory.

Limited self-service at buffets.
Staff have been given special training on the use of sanitizing agents and the correct
method on how to sanitize.
All general areas like toilets, waiting lobbies, café tables and chairs will be sanitized
regularly on a timed basis.
Each toilet block will have a dedicated staff member who will be responsible for
providing hand sanitizer regularly.
All general areas will be sanitized at the end of each day.
