FEBRUARY 17, 2019 Due to inclement weather, member attendance was very low; however the 80 residents of Elmwood Tower who didn’t have to travel and attended our meeting/program showed great acceptance of the program offered by Jeanne, Greg and Jerry. Jeanne provided a well rounded musical program, including name that tune with prizes for those who guessed the names of two tunes. Let’s hope that the weather is better for the March 17th meeting.

River City Theatre Organ Society Minutes
The River City Theatre Organ Society Sunday, February 17, 2019 was held at Elmwood Towers in Omaha, NE. Thanks to the residents and especially Marianne Hall for allowing RCTOS to hold the February meeting at their facility Officers present: Secretary/Treasurer Jerry Pawlak. Vice President Jeanne Sabatka, Board Member Gregory Johnson, Absent: President Bob Markworth, Bob Arsenault, Frank Sabatka, Kathy Rice. Secretary/Treasurer Jerry Pawlak opened the meeting and welcomed RCTOS members and guests. Since there were only a few RCTOS members at this meeting, probably due to very inclement weather conditions, the Secretary’s minutes and Treasurer’s report were unanimously accepted by those present. The next meeting will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 – 2pm at Keystone Retirement Community, Omaha (formerly Skyline Retirement Community. 50/50 – Elmwood Tower Resident Mary Lou Magnes $21 – RCTOS $21 RCTOS Annual Concert at the Rose Theater Omaha will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 – 3pm with featured organist Brett Valliant. 2019 Membership dues are now due. Some members have not yet paid their dues. Dues remain at $10/Year/Family/Individual Membership.
Greg Johnson introduced the artist for the day – Jeanne Sabatka. Jeanne was accompanied by Greg Johnson and Jerry Pawlak at the piano. The group performed the following selections: LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME, LET ME CALL YOU SWEETHEART, MY MELODY OF LOVE, LOVER, YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU, I’M IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE, MY FUNNY VALENTINE, AMOURE, TAKING A CHANCE ON LOVE, YOU’RE JUST IN LOVE, SOMEWHERE MY LOVE, THAT’S AMORE, YOU BELONG TO MY HEART, HEART OF MY HEART.
