• is a collection of globally developed VisionPLUS

property

• provides clients and FirstVision teams with access to

First Data designed functionality that is not in the

VisionPLUS global license product

FirstVision processing

platform in China to support:

an open systems

environment

• Separate logs by services

and indexed by

transaction IDs to allow

• jVMx validates incoming and outgoing

requests for correct formatting including

message structure and metadata

• Fields on request and response

messages can be checked to ensure

data matches and prevent security

issues (e.g. card number is the same on

both messages)

• Metadata repositories allow new

messages to be defined using online

screens and exposure to new services

Key Features & Functions

• jVMx supports messages in various

protocols including TCP/IP, Websphere

MQ, HTTP and SOAP

• It unwraps incoming requests from its

transport protocol and rewraps the

response message into the same

protocol

• Incoming requests are also transformed

into a format that can be processed by

SDM and outgoing responses from SDM

are converted back to the original format

• jVMx logs all request and response

messages for transaction tracking,

security and service usage

• These messages can be written to

different log locations based on message

type which facilitates ongoing technical

support

• A search module is also available to find

and view messages

• Performance reporting provides statistics

by message types within a specific time

period

• jVMx can trigger error events which can

be monitored by data centre operations

(e.g. consecutive average response time

is greater than a defined threshold)

• Parameters are also available to define

acceptable timeout intervals
