CALLED TO SERVE AS CHRIST
CAMPAIGN
Our Lady of Fatima Parish will be participating in
the Called to Serve as Christ campaign This
landmark campaign is the product of years of study
and hard work by clergy lay leaders Archbishop
Sartain and archdiocesan staff All 170 parishes and
missions in our Archdiocese will take part in this
historic effort
The focus of the campaign is to strengthen our priest
retirement and medical plans support our women
religious and assist our parishes Detailed
information about the campaign goals will be
provided through bulletin and pulpit announcements
mailed to every parish household and posted on the
parish website in the months ahead
Our parish is participating in this campaign starting
in August We need many volunteers to assist our
parish for this to be successful If you are interested
in volunteering and helping our parish please ask
Father Phil or contact Phil Hasenkamp at
206-503-2393 for additional details

St VdePrsquos Georgetown Food Bank really needs
volunteers this summer especially for our new
Saturday program Volunteers can serve for any
amount of time during our hours of operation
We are open on Tuesdays Thursdays Fridays
and Saturdays and our hours of operation are
bull 930a-11a Set up the food bank
bull 11a-2p Doors are open to the neighborhood
(Children younger than 15 must be accompanied by
an adult)

ST FRANCIS HOUSE Sandwiches individually
wrapped and put back in labeled bread bags as to
what kind plus hard boiled eggs-please deliver to
the Parish Center on Wednesdays by 900 am and
leave on the coffee table Our dedicated Volunteers
deliver every week The food from Fatima is usually
the only food the St Francis clients receive each
Wednesday
St Francis House also needs clean menrsquos clothing
such as jeans t-shirts sweatshirts and shoes Sign up
here for hard boiled egg donations Email questions

coffee paper products such as cups amp plates and

Mission Projectrdquo at the Catholic Newman Center in
Bellingham WA Students from Fatima Parish are
attending a week long mission trip on July 15th and
will be collecting items after Mass for the next three
weeks Please look for the sign and help with our
efforts to serve the migrant community of Whatcom
County and inspire in our youth the call to service

babies like diapers formula food etc and
nonperishable food supplies for all are needed

efforts to serve the migrant community of Whatcom
County and inspire in our youth the call to service
