Memorandum of Understanding with TCS Pune SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Consultancy Services
Pune, to perform collaborative activities of mutual interest on 12th
June 2012. This
collaboration includes carrying out training, research and development as detailed below:
To conduct workshops for students on cutting edge technologies used in industries.
To conduct Faculty development programs on new technologies and trends in
industries.
Allocating project work to capable students in the field of software development
To present Best student Award, Best student project Award
To offer an internship for a few selected final year students of SGGS IE&T out of
which 2% students will be absorbed in the placement activity.
This MoU will be very beneficial to all the interested students and staff of Computer
Science, IT and E&TC departmentas well who are inclined towards research and
development. For the purpose of carrying out the responsibilities under this agreement,
SGGS IE&T, Nanded has designated Dr. L. M. Waghmare, Director, whereas Mr.
Shekhar Kamble, Talent Acquisistion Lead, TCS, Pune, will look after the activities
under this agreement.

Memorandum of SandRiver Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Pune
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Memorandum of SandRiver Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Puneto perform
collaborative activities in the field of software development on 27th
May 2014. SRT and SGGS IE&T both parties wishes to initiate a
collaborative research and development work by utilizing their expertise in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications,
Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The aim of the MoU is to
come out with research and development particularly in the field of Embedded Systems, Software solutions, Intelligent & Smart
Systems, and Robotics.
This collaboration includes carrying out training,
research and development as detailed below:
Development of various software
solutions at SGGS IE&T, Nanded.
To provide M.Tech. internship for one
year wherever possible.
To design and develop products and

Dr. L. M. Waghmare signed a MoU with SanDriver
The objective of this MoU is to establish a written basis under which the signing TEQIP institutes in the state of Maharashtra have to
participate in the Networking projects to share existing infrastructure and expertise within respective institutes to innovate new
products / New Processes / New Systems during the term of this MoU. Accordingly SGGS IE&T has agreed upon to undertake the
“Robust IRIS recognition system” as a part of this MoU.
This MoU will be very beneficial to all the students and staff of Computer Engineering, IT and E&TC department as well who are
interested in software development. For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under this agreement, SGGS IE&T, Nanded
has designated Dr. Pramanik, dean student’s affairs.

Memorandum of Understanding with Laurus Infosystems
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Laurus Infosystems, Plot no. 100-101, Bangalore, to perform
collaborative activities of mutual interest on 21st February 2014.
This collaboration includes following areas:
To work jointly on research projects ( to be submitted to various funding agencies), consultancy assignments, faculty and
staff development programmes.
Credit transfer for students of the institutes.
To consider institute faculty for admission to M.Tech. / Ph.D. programmes, subjet to their fulfilling eligibility criteria and
selection procedure of these institutes as approved from time to time.
To make collaborative efforts for establishment of Centers of Excellence (CoE)
Faculty and student exchange as decided on case to case basis.
To attend activities organized by institutions
To start collaborative research programs of mutual interests
A function during MoU with Laurus Infosystems
For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under
this agreement, College of Engineering, Pune has
designated Dr. A. D. Sahasrabudhe, Director, as a Nodal
Authority for the collaboration. Similarly SGGS IE&T has
designated Dr. L. M. Waghmare, Director, SGGS IE&T as
the Nodal Authority.
Memorandum Of Understanding with Eklakshya VLSI R & D Centre Pvt. Ltd.
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Eklakshya VLSI R & D centre Pvt. Ltd. Pune, for their common interest
in education, in general, and common goal of creating globally competitive, industry relevant manpower, in particular. This MOU is
signed on 4th
August 2015 by the Director, SGGS IE&T, Nanded.
Eklakshya is a premier research and training company in the field of non-formal education and has been operating since
2005. It conducts education and training programs in the domain of VLSI and Embedded Systems for corporate as well as
educational institutions. With a primary goal of transforming the education space through innovative holistic learning methodology,
Eklakshya imparts both technical and life skills in all its education and training programs. In the form of this MOU both the parties
have established a formal affiliation for the purpose of establishing the relationship between the parties through the collaborative
development, promotion and execution of innovative, industry relevant, special purpose, academic courses/programs of various
duration for industry and academia and other co-operative activities and assistance in the areas of mutual interest and benefits.
The parties anticipate that the collaborative activities may include any or all of the following in general:
Joint Development and execution of Post Graduate Degree M.Tech. Program in the area of VLSI and Embedded Systems
Design.
Joint Development and execution of certified short term courses from 1 Day to 1 Semester duration in domains of
embedded power electronics, embedded control, software design, VLSI, Product design etc.
Conduction of Faculty Development Programs [FDP] in emerging technologies;
Development, organization and hosting of joint academia symposia, conferences, workshops and meetings.
Joint execution of industrial consultancy projects, Product development and involvement of SGGS IE&T faculty & students
in such activities.
To create the Product development Centre in collaboration with Center of Excellence in Signal and Image Processing and
Eklakshya R&D Center Pvt. Ltd.
Exchange of information, advice and assistance relating to areas of mutual interest including, but not limited to, research
activities, obtaining grants and funding, technology transfer and research commercialization ; and
Other activities of mutual benefit for the Parties.
For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under this agreement, Eklakshya VLSI R&D Centre has designated Mr. Vivek
Pawar as the program leader. Similarly SGGS IE&T has designated Dr. L. M. Waghmare, Director, SGGS IE&T as the Program
Leader. The collaboration hopefully will come out with a world class research outcome over a period of time.

Oracle Workforce Development Program(“WDP”) Agreement
SGGS IE&T, Nanded signed a Workforce Development Program(“WDP”) with Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. on 19th
February 2015. This
agreement will allow SGGS IE&T to conduct the technical training programs in its campus for all the students interested in Oracle
certification Programs. The Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. has agreed to provide the technical presentation material, set-up scripts instructor
manuals and documentation pertaining to “WDP” class online. It also will provide Oracle software products, program updates and
documentation owned and distributed by Oracle.The Oracle also has agreed to provide the necessary technical support for smooth
conduction of WDP at SGGS IE&T.

coordinator.
Memorandum of Understanding with Ahmednagar Auto & Engineering Association
SGGS IE&T, Nanded signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ahmednagar Auto & Engineering Association on 12thFebruary
2015. Role of AAEA:
1. Candidates will be referred by the respective institute with due recognition.
2. AAEA will refer suitable candidate to industry.
3. AAEA will refer industries for industrial visits.
4. AAEA will direct candidates to industry for project work.
5. Infrastructure of AAEA will be made available for various tests and exams, if found feasible.
6. AAEA will direct the candidates to member’s enterprise for sandwich courses and summer trainings.

Higher Education License Donation Agreement with Mentor Graphics
SGGS IE&T, Nanded signed a Letter of Intent with SAN JOSE State University, San Jose, USA, on 10th
April 2015. The purpose of
this Letter of Intent is to promote the international academic cooperation by encouraging the following activities
Exchange of materials in education and research, publications, and academic information
Exchange of faculty and research scholars
Exchange of students
Exchange of staff members
Joint research and meetings for education and research
Joint projects and programs related to global education
This letter of intent has formed the framework for cooperation between both the institutions to identify and achieve shared goals and
objectives, and to facilitate and to develop a genuine and mutually beneficial exchange process as well as research relationship.
This agreement provides exchange of students and faculty, exchange of scholars, collaborative research and scholarly publications
etc. between SGGS IE&T and SANJOSE State University, San Jose, USA. Under this agreement, students of either institute
interested in research will be able to join the research or internship programs offered in either of the institutes. This MoU has really
provided an opportunity to the deserving and eligible students of SGGS IE&T to work in a world class research environment in a
foreign University. The faculty members of SGGS IE&T can avail an international research platform to exchange their knowledge,
ideas and expertise with foreign researchers working the same domain.
Prof. Mohammad Qayoomi, President, SAN JOSE State University, San Jose will act as the coordinator responsible for the purpose
of administering the terms of this MoU. On behalf of SGGS IE&T, Dr. L. M. Waghmare will look after the administration part of this
MoU as a coordinator.
Memorandum of Understanding with Kenin Transformers
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kenin Transformers, Latur to perform collaborative activities of mutual
interest on 25th
July 2014. Kenin Transformers, Latur, is a manufacturer of 33/11 kV, 11 kV / 0.40 kV power and other types of
transformers. Transformer plays an important role in a wide range of applications in the field of Electrical Engineering. Generation,
Transmission, Distribution and utilization of electricity require different types of transformers and manufacturing as well as
maintenance of these transformers is highly demanding job today. The company supplies its quality products to different industries in
Maharashtra. The company also provides training to engineers from industries, researchers and in-plant training to engineering
students.
This collaboration includes carrying out training, research and development as detailed below:
Development of Transformer testing methods at SGGS IE&T, Nanded.
To provide 7 days training to B.Tech. Students.
To design and develop products and technology creation.
Allocating project work to capable students in the field of power system
Organize expert seminars, training and workshops for training and upgradation of staff and students
Helping mutually to promote research and development activities.
This MoU will be very beneficial to all the students and staff of Electrical Engineering department and E&TC as well who are
interested in power systems research and development. For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under this agreement,
SGGS IE&T, Nandedhas designated Dr. Ranjan Chile, Pofessor, ElectricalEngg. Dept. Mr. Nachiket Kulkarni, Director of NKT,
Latur, will look after the activities under this agreement. Apart from conducting workshops and training to students, NKT will
present Best student Award, Best student project Award. NKT will also offer an internship for a few selected final year students of
SGGS IE&T out of which 2% students will be absorbed in the placement activity.

Memorandum of Understanding with NKN
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Knowledge Network, Mumbai to perform collaborative
activities of mutual interest on 18thFebruary 2013.
National Informatics Centre (NIC), Dept. of Information Technology, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology,
Govt. of India, is the Project Execution Agency (PEA) for coordinating implementation of National Knowledge Network project by
the designated High Level Committee on NKN. NKN is a state of art Multi-Gigabit PAN India Network and is designed to ensure the
highest level of availability, quality of service, and robust, secure and reliable connectivity for extending network based services. The
NKN consists of an ultra-high speed CORE (multiples of 10 Gbit/s), complimented with a distribution layer at appropriate speeds.
Participating institutions at the Edge will connect to the National Knowledge Network seamlessly at speeds of 1 Gbit/s or higher. The
network is designed to support Overlay Networks, Dedicated Networks, and Virtual Networks. Advanced applications in areas such
as Health, Education, Science & Technology, Grid Computing, Bioinformatics, Agriculture, and Governance will be an integral part
of NKN. The entire network will seamlessly integrate with the global scientific community at multiple gigabits per second speed.
For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under this agreement, SGGS IE&T has designated its Director, as a main
Coordinator for the collaboration. Dr. S. N. Talbar and Prof. H. P. Ambulgekar will work as Nodal officers from SGGS to look after
implementation of the connectivity services from NKN. Similarly Mr. Amit Kumar, Scientific Officer-SB, NIC, Govt. of India, is
designated as the Nodal Authority from PEA.
This agreement will provide wonderful internet connectivity to the faculty members and students of SGGS IE&T.
Memorandum of Understanding with SPJ Embedded Technologies Pvt. Ltd Pune
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SPJ Embedded Technologies Pvt. Ltd Pune to perform collaborative
activities of mutual interest on 13thFebruary 2013.
SPJ Ltd. is a Electronics company working in Embedded systems with a lot of emphasis on R&D for latest technology in micro-
controller and their applications. SPJ provides various high and low end development solutions for embedded industry.
This collaboration includes following areas:
Development of various embedded solutions at SGGS IE&T, Nanded.
To provide M.Tech. Internship for one year wherever possible.
To design and develop products and technology transfer.
Allocating project work to capable students in the field of Embedded and Mobile Applications and various software
solutions in general.
Organize expert seminars, training and workshops for training and upgradation of staff and students
Helping mutually to promote research and development activities.
For the purpose of carrying out their responsibilities under this agreement, SGGS IE&T has designated Dr. S. N. Talbar, Dr. S. B.
Sharma and Dr. S. V. Bonde from E&TC Dept. Similarly SPJ has designated its DirectorMr. Jivan B. Katariya, and Mr. Vijay
Shinde, CEO, to look after the activities under this MoU.
This agreement will provide a wonderful opportunity to the faculty members and students of SGGS IE&T to work in a state of the art
research environment of SPJ. On the other hand the institute will grab a opportunity to share its expertise to the scholar delegates of
SPJ Pune.

Memorandum of Understanding with D-Link India Ltd.
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with D-Link India
Ltd.on 23rd
October 2012. Under this agreement, D-Link India Ltd.
intends to open an authorized D-Link Training and Research centre at
SGGS IE&T Nanded to produce certified specialist in networking domain
with a non-profit and non-commercial approach. D-Link India Ltd. will
train the selected faculty members of SGGS IE&T and then it will
schedule the training programmes for its interested students. SGGS IE&T
has agreed to provide the entire required infrastructure to be a quality
training centre. D-Link India Ltd will issue a certificate recognizing
SGGS IE&T as authorized “D-Link Academy Partner”. D-Link has
agreed upon providing the first batch of lab equipment with maximum
education discount.
This collaboration includes following areas:
To work jointly on research projects ( to be submitted to various

Authority.
This agreement will provide wonderful opportunity to the faculty members and students of SGGS IE&T to work in a state of the art
Network Laboratory being setup at SGGS IE&T Nanded. It’s a unique opportunity for interested students of SGGS IE&T to become
a certified expert in networking technologies.

Software International Ltd. Bangalore.
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding
with Cranes Software International Ltd. Bangalore, to
establish“Texas Insruments Embedded Systems Lab” at
SGGS IE&T Nanded, on 14th
July 2010.
Cranes Software International Ltd. Bangalore, is the
University Program Partner of Texas Instruments
India. The MoU is signed in order to establish a
teaching/research lab facility in the area of Embedded
Systems / Microcontrollers at SGGS IE&T Nanded.

Memorandum of Understanding with nVIDIA.
SGGS IE&T signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cranes Software International Ltd. Bangalore, to establish“Texas
Insruments Embedded Systems Lab” at SGGS IE&T Nanded, on 14th
July 2010.
Under this agreement, nVIDIA intends to open an authorized nVIDIA Training and Research centre at SGGS IE&T Nanded to
produce certified specialist in GPU Technology domain with a non-profit and non-commercial approach. nVIDIA will train the
selected faculty members of SGGS IE&T and then it will schedule the training programmes for its interested students. SGGS IE&T
has agreed to provide the entire required infrastructure to be a quality training centre. nVIDIA will issue a certificate recognizing
SGGS IE&T as authorized “CUDA Teaching Centre”. nVIDIA has agreed upon providing the following lab equipment.
CUDA Teaching Kit consisting of CUDA capable GPUs ( completely donated units )
Some equipment’s with maximum education discount
$2500 cash donation for one semester
Books on “Programming massively parallel processors”
Study material on CUDA C / C++ Programming
Access to coaching support material
This MoU will be very beneficial to all the interested students and staff of CSE, IT, E&TC and Instrumentation Engineering
department as well who are inclined towards research and development in parallel programming. For the purpose of carrying out the
responsibilities under this agreement, SGGS IE&T, Nanded has designated Dr. R. C. Thool, Professor, Dept of IT.
