VIRTUAL TIDE POOL…

Virtual Tide Pool features a three dimensional view of a tide pool during both low and high tides. Students can see animals that live under, above, and at the water’s surface. This site offers the ability to pan the tide pool for a 360 degree view, with zoom options, and gives descriptions of the animals found during both low and high tides.

WHAT STUDENTS CAN DO..

Students can explore the animals that live in the tide pools by zooming in on photographs and reading facts about the animals. Students can make their own illustrations of the external features that make these animals adapt to this environment.
