Dear Valued Patient,
From all of us here at Norman Regional, thank you for seeking care through our virtual visit platform, Norman Regional
Virtual Care. It is Norman Regional’s mission to provide you with a bridge from sickness to wellness and Norman
Regional wants to build that bridge where patients Live, Work, and Play. The Norman Regional Virtual Care platform is a
great example of that commitment to YOU. Through the Norman Regional Virtual Care platform, you can:
1. Seek urgent care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
2. Schedule visits with your local, Norman Regional Primary Care providers, sometimes same day or next day.
3. Schedule visits with your local, Norman Regional Specialty Care providers, sometimes same day or next day.
The following pages walk you through the login process step by step and are designed to make your journey from
sickness to wellness, easier. If you have any issues whatsoever, please feel free to reach out to the office your Virtual
Visit is scheduled at.

Norman Regional Virtual Patient User Guide (Laptop/Computer)
1. You will receive this email as soon as your visit is scheduled. If you do not see this email, check your spam/junk
email. If you still do not see it, call your Primary Care Physicians office and confirm the email address the email
was sent to.
2. You should click “Get Started”.

3. You should click “Test Your Computer”, to complete the Tech Check. If you’ve completed the Tech Check
already, or your computer is new and readily compatible with our Virtual Platform, you may not see the “Test
Your Computer” button, and can skip to Step 9.
4. A new window will pop-up and you’ll begin your Tech Check by clicking “Start Test”.

5. Click “Yes”, if you see video on the right side of your screen. If you don’t see video on the right side of your
screen, follow the troubleshooting tips listed in the pop-up window. If none of those tips work, please contact
your doctor’s office so you can assist you in your troubleshooting efforts.
6. Step 2 of the Tech Check is a Mic Check, You will see the screen below. If your Mic works you should see Green
Bars when you speak and you can click “Yes”. If you don’t see green bars when you speak, you should click “No”
and you’ll see this screen. Follow the Troubleshooting Tips. If none of the
tips work, please contact your doctor’s office and they’ll assist you in your troubleshooting efforts.
7. Step 3 of the Tech Check is a Speaker Check, click the play button and if you hear sound you should click “Yes”. If
you do not hear sound click “No”, and you’ll see this screen. Try and complete the Troubleshooting Tips. If none
of the tips work, please contact your doctor’s office and they’ll assist you in your troubleshooting efforts.
8. Step 4 of the Tech Check is an Internet Check, click “Go” on the right side of your screen. This will initiate a one-
minute long internet check. If your computer passes, you can select continue, and then “Done” to complete the
Tech Check. If your computer cannot sustain a good internet connection please contact your doctor’s office and
they’ll assist you in your troubleshooting efforts.
9. Once the Tech Check is complete, select Start Visit in the Web Browser.
10. If you have not completed the Tech Check, click “Test Computer” in the top right corner of the screen. (Step 4-9
will walk you through this) After you’ve completed the Tech Check, go ahead and login. Log in using the email
address you provided your doctor’s Office with. If you’re a new patient, you’ll have to create your own password
at this point. If you’re a returning virtual patient, you may not see this screen at all.

11. The Virtual Platform will then ask you a few questions. First, it will ask for your phone number. Please enter your
phone number and press continue.
12. The Virtual platform will then ask, “What would you like to discuss today?” Please enter a brief description of
your visit reason and check the “I acknowledge receipt of these Notice of Privacy Practices” box. Then click
“Continue”.

13. The virtual platform will then ask for your insurance. Select “My plan isn’t listed” and then Continue. We ask
that you select this option because, currently, there is no extra fee for conducting a virtual visit. You will be
billed just as you would a normal patient visit.
14. You are now in the waiting room and ready for the provider to start your visit. You will be watching a video of a
lady informing you about the benefits of tele-health. At this point, the provider will start the virtual visit. If the
video finishes a blue door will appear in the middle of your screen with a green bar rotating around it. This
indicates that you are in the waiting room and waiting for a provider to start the visit. If you have to wait more
than 10 minutes for a visit to start, please contact your doctors Office.
15. Then you conduct the visit as you normally would and cross the bridge from sickness to wellness!
