RETIREMENTSVNB will soon be without two extraordinary employees that have made anincredible impact on the lives of fellow staff members and each one of the

customers that they have interacted with throughout the years

Pat Morris is retiring on August 30th Pat has been at the Downtown Malllocation since we opened She has been part of developing VNB and a part of

the VNB family for 21 years We thank you Pat for your expertise yourfriendship and your great service to our customers

Barbara Turner is retiring on September 12th Barbararsquos banking career beganin 1983 She has been a valued employee with VNB since 2003 when weopened the Creekside office Her banking knowledge and customer service

skills will truly be missed We know that she is looking forward to spending timewith her family and enjoying all that retirement has to offer

AMERICAN RED CROSSEMPLOYEE TRAINING

VNB cares about the safety of our employees as well as our valued customersWe are certifying all of our staff with First Aid AED and CPR training throughthe American Red Cross so they will be prepared to take action if there is everan emergency situation All of our locations have AED units installed for easy

access Having an AED on-site and ready to use within two to three minutes ofsudden cardiac arrest can increase the chance of survival from 10 to 70

from CPR alone

Andrew Collings VNB employee and student in PVCCs cybersecurityprogram recently placed in the top 75 in a nationwide cybersecurity

competition National Cyber League against nearly 5000 university andcommunity college students He also won 2nd place nationwide in the Open
