Ability or Aptitude Test: these tests will focus on logical thinking or reasoning in numerical, abstract or verbal ability

• Verbal Reasoning measures verbal fluency, vocabulary and the ability to understand and reason using words.

• Numerical Reasoning measures the ability to use and understand numerical concepts, to reason using numbers and perceive logical relationships between them.

• Abstract Reasoning measures the ability to understand abstract logical problems and use new information outside the range of previous experience.

Search Client is a global health-care

manufacturer and has a strong foothold in the Vietnam market. It started planning for the young talent development program in order to gain a competative advantages over other employers in the same market whilst complying with the whole strategy of mid-career acquisition and the global strategic young leader program.

Management trainee programs were booming in Vietnam. The key issues and messages were too generic and MT-as-a-gimmick usage leading to me-too campaigns, lacking appropriate selling points.Results

Success in the campaign with a great buzz among the fresh graduate community.

Solution VIPsearch consultant team worked

closely with the client on all possibilities, clarifying on the actual needs and requirements, from the management view to the functional requirements from business units to work out the detailed 2 year plan. This included hints and tips for internal training and developing a strategic young talent development and execution plan and we were also in charge of the outsourcing team to conduct the whole campaign, from attraction, assessment (coordinate with HR team), on boarding.

Proved the right program scheme. Handed over to inhouse team for following up.

Back to the road

Search Client is a leading company in

consumer products in Vietnam. They usually conduct the university tour for the young talent program annually. This year, the person in charge of the program left for 6 months leaving a temporary shortage of resources.

There are also some other points that needed further improvement.

Results Success in the campaign with great

results. Big improvement from last year activities.

Solution VIPsearch consultant team delegated to

fill in the gap of project management resources, as well as the execution team. The plan also worked out with 2 newly proposed social recruitment channels.

New scheme for the program with a social recruitment channel being formed with proved performance.

Search Client is an international fast moving

consumer goods company in Vietnam Initial CV screening and initial interview

process outsourcing is required.

Results Finish the project in time with over 200

interviews, shortlist of 30 candidates. Detailed reports and voice records from all interviews.

Solution Recruitment team became involved to

acquire the whole process at the client site for 3 weeks.

STAR interview technique and a new interview methodology are deployed upon client’s request.
