Fractional size violas, ¾ (13”) and smaller, are available in the Halo, Allegro, and Lutiger brands. These are small violins strung with Dominant A, D, and G strings and a Helicore C string for maximum response.
* At the 14” size, the Halo and Allegro violas have a slightly deeper rib structure than the full-sized violin, while the other three instruments, of European origin, are violins re-strung, set up, and selected for the best possible viola sound.
