Build a List & They Will Come: Southern Italy’s Magic in the Bottle!Wines from Southern Italy have never been more widely available in the USA, both at retail and on-premise. But to what degreehave southern Italian wines ‘arrived’? Are customers asking for them, or are the wines ‘being sold’? Have the wines become a stand-alone ‘wine category’? Or are they an assembly of regional wines that are too diverse to be grouped under one generic umbrella?A lively discussion, indeed.
